1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible SOLD by Erics Muscle Cars

http://www.ericsmusclecars.com/car.php?car=419 is proud to offer a super fun cruizin' drop top. This 1969 Pontiac Firebird is a very nice driver with plenty of eyeball with the one year only body style which is accented nicely with candy maroon paint, Black top (new boot), and Black interior with Buckets and console. The car is a pleasure to drive with the high speed performance radials which are mounted on the Torque Thrust wheels for a look that is all of it's own. This car is a nice cruiser/driver which our FAIR market price at EMC reflects.

VIN 223678U605338 This beautiful Pontiac came to us out of Virginia, from a man who owned the car for about two years. He didn't really do a whole lot to the car in the two years, just changed the oil and occasionally drove it. The car was restored about 5 years ago by a man who had friends in the automotive industry. The group restored this car back to its original glory, maybe even a little better. They spared no expense, as the owner planned on keeping the car forever. Once the project was finished, he decided he didn't use it enough to justify keeping it, so he sold it to the guy we bought it from in Virginia. The car was a southern car most of its life and it shows. PHS Documents, original owners manual and original protection plan booklet are included in the sale. 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
This is my 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 project-Plans for this car are drum to disc brakes upgrades first! You can hear the old drums squeeking as I brake! suspension, interior, and house of kolor candy apple red paint with black rally stripes! Audio system and interior are already being worked on. Also im planning to lower it 2 inches all around. Im debating on wether to paint the wheels black or match them kandy apple red? or try to combine both black and candy red for the rims? What do you think? Engine is a freshly rebuilt 400 block, .060 bored, hooker headers, holley carb, holley electric fuel pump, and dual flowmasters. For now not focusing on the engine but I've been thinking about rebuilding a faster 400 and upgrading the automatic transmission to a manual shift 5 speed. Not trying to build a car show quality or a superfast car, mostly a cruiser and once in a while fun at the drag strip. Flawless 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
Dave Armstrong, the master GM mechanic who keeps my Fiero on the road, did a frame-up restoration on this flawless, award-winning 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400. (Quick, all you old-timers. What were the names of the other Firebird models available that year? No peeking.) I'm always amazed at his ability to find NOS parts that aren't even being made anymore by anyone, especially GM. Dave takes this car to Pontiac shows during the summer; don't miss the opportunity to see it up close and personal. This video doesn't do it justice. If you have a GM car (or any other car or truck, for that matter), and you live in the Chicago area, take it to him. Ace Muffler, 7157 W. Irving Park Rd., near Harlem/Irving Plaza. (773)282-1444. How good is he? When he replaced the Iron Duke in my Fiero, his years of experience allowed him to take the old one out through the top instead of dropping the rear suspension and drivetrain, as Pontiac recommended. Yes, he knows his business. And anyone who would take a car like this into Chicago evening rush-hour traffic is either very brave or knows that he could build another one just like it, which he could;) That lap-dissolve at 3:16 was necessitated by a very rude, very obscene comment and hand gesture by the female passenger in that Toyota Yaris. Pure jealousy, that's all that was. That Firebird 400 V8 sound is music. If you have stereo speakers on your computer, turn them up. He's also restoring a '69 Pontiac Ventura, which I shot video of and will be uploading later on.
