ford f650The Ford F-650/F-750 Super Duty are medium-duty commercial trucks
produced by a joint venture of Ford Motor Company and Navistar
International. They were introduced in 2000, replacing the
previous-generation F-600, F-700, and F-800 trucks introduced in 1980. They
are made mainly for use as utilitarian trucks for towing, heavy hauling,
use in construction and are intended to appeal to businesses and
municipalities. They are primarily Class 6/7 trucks, but the 2011 model
year F-750 expanded into the Class 8 range with a GVWR of 37,000 pounds
(17,000 kg) due to frame and chassis upgrades. Although an F-Series truck,
the F-650/750 Super Duty is also an indirect replacement for lower-end
versions of the L-Series, in terms of GVWR and capability.
The F-650 and F-750 are manufactured in Mexico in a joint venture with
Navistar International called Blue Diamond Truck Company LLC.
As of 2014, the medium-duty Super Duty is available in the United States,
Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Awesome 1972 Ford F250 Sport Custom 360 V8 Restored Classic Pickup Truck
I thought you'd like a look at this amazing 1972 Ford F250. This really is
one of the nicest F250's that I've come across. It's powered by the
original 360 V8, backed by a C6 Automatic, and a set of 3.73 Gears out
back. The paint is slick, all the trim looks like new, and it's just as
nice on the inside. You rarely find them in this sort of condition. I hope
you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011

Big Trucks Duke it Out: Full Size Pickup Comparison
MORE FULL SIZE TRUCK COMPARO @ INSIDELINE.COM:
We see it every Friday during our evening commute. A stream of vehicles
choking the freeway, headed out to the Mojave Desert or the Colorado River
for some well-earned weekend stress relief.
The fun varies, from camping to dirt-bike riding to water-skiing. But the
vehicle that invariably gets tasked with hauling the corresponding
equipment is a full-size pickup truck. You know, like the 2009 Chevrolet
Silverado 1500, 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, 2009 Ford F-150 or 2009 Toyota Tundra.
Sure, we talk about the virtues of the minivan as a family hauler, and
there are many. But the minivan stands no chance against a looming 25-foot
camping trailer. And SUVs are easily flummoxed by motocross bikes and the
need to carry their smelly gas cans (or anything that's remotely dirty,
actually) in the vehicle's cargo area.
There's nothing like a pickup, with its big bin in back that doesn't care
what you toss into it. And the truck is sure to be around long after the
full-frame SUV falls completely out of favor and descends into the
three-row car-based sensibility that is the crossover.
Offroad Obstacle Course
As part of the 2008 PickupTrucks.com Half-Ton Shootout, PickupTrucks.com
put six half-ton pickups from Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Nissan and
Toyota through an offroad obstacle course that included a gravel pit, a
46.6 percent dirt-hill climb and descent, and a telephone pole crawl. For

1979 Dodge Little Red Express: The Original Muscle Truck -- /BIG MUSCLE
It's the Granddaddy of the muscle truck. The original gangster, and the one
that broke the mold when it came to straight-line American speed in the
late 1970's. The Little Red Express Truck was a twin-stacked, small block
powered pickup truck from Dodge that was you're worst nightmare if you
happened to own a Ferrari 308, Trans Am or Corvette back in 1978 or 1979.
Big on style as well as performance, the Little Red's are some of the
rarest and coolest trucks to ever come out of Detroit, and with the power
to back up the looks, it's no wonder they've generated a cult following
amongst dedicated enthusiasts.
1979 Ford F150 4x4 Pickup 351 V8 - Nicely Restored Classic
This old Ford was looking real good in that blue and I thought it was worth
a look. It's been nicely restored all the way around. The paint and trim
look great, the interior is very clean, and it's riding on a nice set of
later model chrome wheels. It has the ultra reliable stock powertrain
intact. If it were mine, I'd consider dropping a 460 crate motor in it to
liven things up a bit. Hope you find it interesting, thanks for checking it

delivering what America needs in these tough economic times: a compact

pickup truck offers multiple configurations to suit your cargo and
8) Toyota Tacoma http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/toyota/tacoma/?id=32972
Sometimes overshadowed by the Tundra, the Toyota Tacoma is the vehicle that
put Japan on the map as far as pickup trucks go. The Tacoma is a Top 10
truck because it's built on a very solid foundation.
7) Nissan Titan http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/nissan/titan/?id=32972

pickups. The V-8 Titan is the largest truck you can buy from Nissan and
this pickup proves to be a very solid choice making this list of Top 10.
6) RAM 1500 http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/ram/1500/?id=32972
For many years the RAM was the ugly step child to Ford and Chevy trucks.
But over the last few years, Dodge has been paying close attention to just
how owners use their pickups. Now the RAM is one of the most versatile and
functional trucks on the market. This Best Truck choice is so popular that
the Chrysler Group has made the RAM division into its own brand.
5) GMC Sierra 1500
GMC has done an excellent job of distinguishing itself from Chevy by
labeling their trucks "professional grade." Perception has become reality
and today the GMC Sierra is seen as a high end truck to most consumers. The
GMC Sierra is one of the Best Trucks you can buy.
4) Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The Battle between Ford and Chevy remains strong and is most prevalent in
the war for Best Pickup Truck. While Ford may have an edge due to the newer
body style, for some owners it's still Chevrolet or nothing. Despite its
age the Chevy Silverado 1500 still remains both a workhorse and a good
3) GMC Sierra 2500HD
The HD designation stands for Heavy Duty and the GMC Sierra 2500HD is as
tough as they come. Whether you opt for the turbo-diesel engine of the gasoline powered motor;
the Sierra in HD format is all about towing and hauling. This is the truck
for those who are serious about pickups. The Sierra HD is one of the
toughest trucks on this Top 10 list.
2) Toyota Tundra http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/toyota/tundra/?id=32972
If there is one word to describe Toyota's commitment to making the best
pickup truck in America: it's relentless. Toyota knew that in order to
compete with the big 3, it needed to not only build a great truck, but they
needed to build it here on American soil. Built in San Antonio Texas, the
Tundra offers the perfect balance between drivability and capability.
1) Ford F-150 EcoBoost
Ford's EcoBoost engine technology
consists of direct injection and twin-turbochargers have proven effective in the line-up
of cars, and now we find this engine making its way onto more F-150 trucks.
Essentially this engine gives you V-8 power combined with the fuel economy
of a V-6. This EcoBoost engine out
powers many V-8 engines on the market with 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of
torque while still getting the best fuel economy of any non-hybrid full
sized pickup truck. On top of all that great technology, the Ford F-150
looks great. The exterior styling and wonderful interior hits the mark
making this pickup our pick for the Top Truck in America.
