The Defect III (Datsun 120Y) lives!
July 1974 Datsun 120Y 4 door Sedan, which is known in some markets as a B-210 or Honeybee - it started life as a A12/3 speed Auto/H145 diff car - it's now is a B310 (Sunny) A12/ smoothcase four speed and BW68 diff in it as well as late model Australian 120Y sedan front suspension as well
the original A12 engine was seized... so I updated as much of it as I could to Aussie late model 120Y Sedan mechanicals
Datsun Drift - Bushy Park
A bit of fun in a friends Datsun 210 around our local track, Bushy Park, after an Auto X event. First time driving the car with the A14 in it. It's a nice engine with twin SU carbs, A15 head, race cam, racing Exhaust. A lot faster than the standard A15 in my road car.
Also the first time driving the car on the wet with the welded differential so I was just playing around with it, getting a feel for how it drives sideways.
DATSUN NIPPON SWAP MEET/CAR SHOW 3/28/10
Hosted by Jose Santos, Awesome Oldschool JDM Car Show. Abundance of used and new parts. Great deals on many parts that you need. In attendance were Terry and Koji of Japanese Classic Car Show, Mike of Datsunlandsocal.com, Rod of Rodsdatsun.com and many oldshool vendors. It was a great SoCal weather. Delicious tacos and incredible networking. A show not to be missed. Check your local Datsun, Mazda and Toyota club forum for the next Datsun Nippon Swap meet/Car Show in Eagle Rock, CA. Thank you for viewing.
1978 DATSUN B210 INCREDIBLE SURVIVOR
Just to set the record straight, the "It happened in 1978" website was wrong and I failed to double-check them. Too late to re-script the entire video. So, once and for all... According to Wikipedia and several additional sources it was actually 1976 when the album Hotel California was released NOT 1978

This car is not restored, it has never had any paint work of any kind. The body and interior are almost perfect. The engine compartment has not been detailed. The car is kept in climate control and only driven a few times each year to car shows. It has an EPA-mpg rating of 28 city and 41 highway! It is powered by a 1.4 liter 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission.
