1967 Ford Fairlane GT 390 4sp
An original California car put together in 1998 I think he said. It was immaculate. It looks stock right down to the low rise dual plane intake. I wouldn't be able to resist stepping up to a Edelbrock Performer if it was mine. 22 October 2011.

Muscle Car Of The Week Video #56: 1966 Ford Fairlane 427 Lightweight
What happens when you mix a lightweight body with a high-powered 427?   Ford set out to find out with this 1966 Fairlane, and the results were awesome.    This Fairlane does not look like anything special, being completely devoid of racy looking stripes or fancy trim, but the giveaway is the scooped lift-off hood and the discreet 427 badges on the fenders.    This car is boasting lightweight aluminum and fiberglass panels from front to back, and has been assembled without creature comforts inside.   However, it was fitted with the R-Code dual 4-barrel side-oiler 427, a 425 HP race engine for the street.     The R-Code rumbles thanks to the high compression pistons and lumpy cam, and the 4-speed manual box and 3.89 gears help it get out of the hole.    Which is what this car was designed to do, in the form of Super Stock drag racing.   Ford only built 57 of these in 1966, and this one lives among many other unique and low-production factory racers in the Brothers Collection.

132700 / 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/cetjhjg Fresh from a complete frame-off restoration and packing a properly rebuilt and restored 429 V8, this '69 Boss 429 gives you the best of both worlds: owning a rare, investment grade muscle car at a price that allows you to drive it a bit and enjoy it! In March of 2003, after almost 35 years of accident free driving and excellent maintenance this killer Mustang was purchased by a new owner and subjected to a highly detailed frame off restoration. During that cars restoration, all of its original panels were stripped to bare metal and thoroughly worked to ensure a super smooth surface with laser straight lines. Once the body was fully prepped and displayed excellent fit and finish, a correct coat of Candyapple Red basecoat/clearcoat was expertly applied from tip to tail, and buffed to the fantastic shine you see here. Completed in early 2011, and with only 19 miles of road time since being rolled out of the paint booth, Boss 429 #1541 is an amazing piece of Mustang legend. Lift the glossy red hood and you'll find a correct 429 cubic inch warranty replacement V8 that's been completely rebuilt, bored .030 over and produces somewhere north of 500 horsepower. At the top of the engine bay, the cars original widened shock tower brace hovers over a correct blue air cleaner which feeds a correct Holley C9AZ-9510-S 4-barrel carburetor. Below that carburetor, original (to the block) heads hold new stainless valves and springs below polished Boss 429 valve covers and chrome Ford Racing breather caps. Below those heads, a NOS Boss T crank spins balanced billet Crower rods and forged Ross Racing stock compression pistons; and a .580 lift cam pushes traditional solid lifters. Fire is provided by a correct Autolite coil which sends fire to an Accel points distributor and Moroso Ultra Race wires. And cooling is provided by the cars original oil cooler and radiator which is complete with fresh Autolite hoses and correct tower clamps. Behind the big 429, the cars original close ratio Top Loader 4-speed is still hooked to its original flywheel and bell housing. At the back of that transmission, an original driveshaft spins an original Ford 9 inch Traction-Lok rear end that is complete with asphalt shredding 3.90 gears and an original metal maintenance tag. At the front of the car, a rebuilt double A-arm coil spring suspension holds a rebuilt factory optioned power steering system between aftermarket spindles which hang SSBC vented rotors and SSBC calipers. At the back of the car, a rebuilt leaf spring suspension holds correct drum brakes at the edges of a factory equipped rear sway bar and a new stainless fuel tank. And in the middle of the car, subframe connectors seamlessly parallel a factory replacement Exhaust system that's complete with an H-pipe, correct resonators and a correct transversely mounted muffler. Power is put to the pavement by great looking 15 inch chrome Magnum 500 wheels that are wrapped in fresh 215/60 front and 255/60 rear BF Goodrich Radial T/As. Take a look inside this Boss 429 and you'll find a completely restored correct Clarion Knit vinyl interior with hi-back bucket seats, fully rebuilt gauges and bright re-chromed knobs. The rebuilt and re-covered black Clarion knit buckets are in spectacular shape both front and back, and there is no evidence of sun damage or rot on the fresh dual cowl dash pad. Inside that dash, excellent looking wood applique trims clear gauges, a functioning passenger's side clock and a correct Philco AM radio; and below the dash, a full length center console holds a traditional chrome Hurst shifter in front of a chrome lighter and deep console. At the sides of the car, sculpted door panels are decorated with more wood trim and re-chromed knobs, and in front of the driver, the cars original factory optioned Rim Blow deluxe steering wheel has been restored to perfectly match the wood trim on the dash and console. Documented, fully sorted and one of the most sinister Mustangs we've ever had, it drives and sounds every bit as good as it looks! 1966 Ford Fairlane Hardtop 427
There's something about stacked headlights and a tag that reads "427". It's a quintessential 60's look that get's you. If you're going to mess with a 427FE or SOHC (in a straight line), your Nitrous bottle betta be full! This owner has had the car for about 30 years and the bond with it is clear. White must be a horrible color to maintain because I see him wiping it down a lot. I believe it's a 390 with twin 4bbls but you can't really tell the diff. A real nice car. Dig the dog dish hub caps. Taken at Lowe's in Abingdon, MD 9/2/2011.

Boss 429 History/ Boss 9 [S4 Ep.12-1]
Today on GEARZ, Stacey takes a look at one of the most incredible engines that Ford ever built, the boss 429. But instead of leaving you WISHING you could have one, he shows you where you can actually GET one... the legendary Jon Kaase. After that he rolls the V8 Interceptor, Cougar back into the shop and gives you 780 reasons why this car is called the Interceptor. With all that new-found room under the hood. Stacey stuffs in a 520ci, 780 horsepower, Boss Nine engine and a 6speed manual transmission to back it up. If you didn?t think modern performance parts would fit in a classic muscle car, this show proves they can! But there's more to it than that, it's the rebirth of Ford's hemi and finally an answer to all those Ford fans who have wondered what could have been if the Boss engine had continued. The Boss V8 Interceptor is in the house!!!
