I was told this naturally aspirated 4-banger made 31 drag strip passes this night and holds the record for most runs in one night at Edgewater Sports Park drag strip in Ohio (The record is 38 runs for one car in one night, by the Pink Puss) also search "Ohio's oldest ricer" to meet Paul, the driver of this cool machine! This event was no clocks, hand drop, and this track was unprepped surface and limited to street cars with tags title and insurance, stock style suspension and cars with working head and tail lights! This first event of the season packed 3800 people into Edgewater Sports park drag strip to witness a classic Mustang (Foxbody Capri) versus Camaro battle! HOK Kandy Regal drag racing! Street legal, 9 seconds on motor! The Corvette gets loose and ends up in my lane after sliding sideways. My first Hot Street victory! Mid 9s on 255/60-15 radials....1.32 60' time!!! Track not very good that day for any of the fast cars, and 90 degree weather to boot!
