This is the 454 LS-7 Big Block Chevy I have owned since '91. Stock bore,
steel "990" heads, .710 lift Comp Solid Roller Cam, Brodix aluminum ported
intake, 1350 cfm Holley Dominator, Comp. Hooker Headers. These motors come
from the factory with 12.5 pistons, steel crank, 4-bolt mains, and the best
of everything. The most "Bullet Proof" engine GM ever made. We rev it to
7000 rpm every shift. Best time was 9.78 @ 137mph in 1/4 and 6.16 @ 112mph
in 1/8 mile. 3000 lb. car with driver. "Foot Breakin', NO electronics at
all. No trans brake.

Chevy Big Block Engine Starting
We just finished our new Chevy Big-Block engine, wich will soon find a home
in our 1980 Camaro. It
is just one of many BBC's that I have built. It is a "street friendly" 10:1
all forged, mechanical roller with too many goodies to list . It sounds
crazy and I can't wait to feel the tire shreading performance.

R-3350 Engine Startup After Engine Change
This is the first run of an R-3350 after it was changed.
This engine had been conserved or "pickled" when it arrived at the Davis
Monthan Boneyard many years ago. During start-up it is producing a lot of
smoke which is the conservation oil being flushed out of the cylinders as
it comes to life again.
The prop is in the feather position which is the state it was in when
removed from the previous engine.
As the engine catches, the flight engineer pulls out on the feather button
which unfeathers the prop and lets it go to the normal low pitch positon.

1988 350 hydraulic roller block. 4 bolt main, 1pc RMS. Bored .030 over.
Eagle 383 stroker nodular cast crank, lightened and internally balanced
Eagle forged 6" connecting rods
Forged and coated Mahle flat top pistons
7qt Moroso pan kicked out for clearance. Moroso pump and pickup.
Edelbrock 2204 cam lift .539/.548 duration 296/300
64cc Edelbrock Aluminum E-tec heads, 170cc int.
Crane Cam Gold Race extruded full roller aluminum rocker arms 1.5 ratio

Forgotten Volkswagen Single Cab
How does an old Volkswagen Single Cab get buried under 3 feet of dirt?
Took 45 years to bury this Volkswagen and almost 2 days to dig it out.
Have a look. Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single
cab in the foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of
digging condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash
since 1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust
free given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day
