This is the 454 LS-7 Big Block Chevy I have owned since '91. Stock bore, steel "990" heads, .710 lift Comp Solid Roller Cam, Brodix aluminum ported intake, 1350 cfm Holley Dominator, Comp. Hooker Headers. These motors come from the factory with 12.5 pistons, steel crank, 4-bolt mains, and the best of everything. The most "Bullet Proof" engine GM ever made. We rev it to 7000 rpm every shift. Best time was 9.78 @ 137mph in 1/4 and 6.16 @ 112mph in 1/8 mile. 3000 lb. car with driver. "Foot Breakin', NO electronics at all. No trans brake.

454 Engine Blow Up Contest Test Run, Blowing A Motor On The Run Stand Of Death
This engine is for sale for $500.00 It's a rebuildable running core 1978 454 2 bolt main truck engine. It will be in Long Block form. (no intake, headers, brackets etc.)
If it is not sold by Mid-March, it will meet "The Engine Stand Of Death" at my B-Day Party. So, if you don't like the idea of wasting a good rebuildable 454, buy it & save it. Not to wory, if it does sell we have a 305 to take its place.

Chevy Big Block Engine Starting
We just finished our new Chevy Big-Block engine, wich will soon find a home in our 1980 Camaro. It is just one of many BBC's that I have built. It is a "street friendly" 10:1 all forged, mechanical roller with too many goodies to list . It sounds crazy and I can't wait to feel the tire shreading performance.
Chevy 350 First Fire
It was rebuilt and stored for 5 years with a total of maybe 10k miles on it (just broken in). Here we resurrect it from it's hibernation. It's been bored .030" over with flat top pistons and a 292 cam. She's got some thump!
FORD CRUMBLES IN PATH OF BIG BLOCK CHEVY!!
On the first hole of the day at Louisiana Mudfest, Brian Briggs (TheMudbogger79) showers down on that skinny. Unfortunately there was another truck stuck in the path of his roost. While trying to move out of the way, the entire 4-link setup completely cratered when the driver spooled up and dumped the clutch. The aftermath wasn't pretty. Too bad it was the first day!

1996 Silverado details - 505 chevy stroker big block, solid lift cam, forged crank rods and pistons, cast iron heads with port work, roller rockers, 10.3 -1 compression, NV4500 5 speed manual transmission, 2.5 ton Rockwells, 54" Boggers, Profab trasfer case, Front leafs have 12" lift and 10" block. Rear springs have 8" lift, 15" block and shackle flip.

Cobra Engine Build Part 1
