1962 Chevy II Nova, Big Block
My 1962 Chevy II Nova, out for the spring 2011. Been sitting for the last
6-7 winter months in storage (thats why the brakes are howling). Took a
video of it since I was about to send it off to its new owner and I never
really had anything of it all finished.
-454, 10.5:1 Compression, CompCams 288/294 duration, 521/540 lift,
hydraulic roller cam. Alum. heads etc.
-400 turbo trans with 3000 stall
-3" mandrel bent Exhaust with x-pipe
and Dynatech mufflers.
-Narrowed 9" ford, ladder bars, mini tubbed.
-17x7 & 18x9.5 Billet Specialties Vintec Dished wheels
-Shaved all the trim, handles, etc, cowl louvers filled, modified, smoothed
firewall, custom one piece tail lights, tons of subtle changes to the car.
1963 Twin Turbo Nova Goldieloxx the Super Sleeper Built Bobby Brown Project X
This is a 1963 Nova. Twin turbo, 350
small block. Granny look with monster power. The car is pretty basic on
the outside, vicious under the hood. The engine is entirely. Custom Built
by Bobby Brown, Project X. Bobby can custom build most anything, street

his stuff in order. His house and truck are always spotless, and his
garage is so clean it could double as a showroom. We've often found that
shops that are too clean never see any work, but Joe also knows how to get
things done. Take his '63 Nova, for example. He's owned it for a long
time, and it has gone through several transformations over the years,
resulting in the car you see in this video. Today it's an arrow-straight
street / strip terror that makes around 1000 horsepower from a small
block sucking Nitrous Oxide. In this
video, Joe takes the car to the World Street Challenge to run in the Wild
Street class where you have to drive the car 30 miles, then run
back-to-back dragstrip passes to qualify. Joe's Nova ended up winning
the class with low 9-second quarter mile passes at around 150 miles per
hour. If you ask Joe, it's just good clean fun. You can also see this
