This was the top of the Pontiac line back in 1964. You have to admire the long, graceful lines..and the elegant simplicity of the dash! The 8 lug wheels are pieces of art! A boss of mine whose brother owned a Pontiac dealership had a hardtop version of this car...impressive, indeed!
1961 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop Slvr
Beautiful car, with a 1962-63 replacement Pontiac racing engine. The
ultimate in beauty and performance. Admittedly, not for someone who can't
afford the fuel, but this car makes a real performance statement!
1949 Plymouth 2 Door Customized Sedan
First, you don't often see 1949 Plymouths...secondly, you don't often see
them customized...thirdly, you really don't see the original flathead 6 in
the engine bay!
Dual carbs...sounded very nice when started up! Cool car..customized, but
true to the original.
1966 AMC Marlin
This is the same video I uploaded a day or two ago...I inadvertently had
music in that video, so this replaces that. Cool car, nice paint and
interior..similar in concept with the Dodge Charger of the same period.
Both were experimenting with fastback styling, popular early in the 1940's
too. This definitely has to be a rare car!

1964 Pontiac Parisienne saga continues, engine break-in, hurdles overcome
Unless one is the owner of a very fancy shop, with every bit and piece
already made, no major work on a classic or antique car is ever going to be
a tranquil walk in the park. Even then there are some total surprises.
While I often say to never give up on your projects, much patience and
puzzle figuring out is always needed for even seemingly routine things.
Parts which are supposed to be good turn out to be duds, and routine
installations and set-ups can have pitfalls as well. But one can look back
and smile, for the awkward moments are what make folks laugh when they say
"Remember the mess that was had doing so and so..." Oh boy, for us it was
distributors put in 180-degrees off, a sudden geyser of coolant due to a
thermostat with no bleed hole, then the thing of installing a spread bore
intake manifold so we could fit a more modern Rochester Quadrajet to
replace the supposedly 'recently run old style Rochester 4-jet square bore.
A wonky Q-jet carburetor, which was promptly named 'Mechanical Dufus' that
had a stuck needle, leading to a flood out, Refitting another one which I
knew I had looked into not too long ago which should work (it did after
some coaxing involving mixing/matching mounting gaskets to get rid of a
vacuum leak). Things finally came together, the prequel will be coming of
the gear shift and transmission linkage installation later on, it looks
like I forgot to edit that part before this clip. We finally did the test
drive, all has worked out pretty fair up to now, A few adjustments and
tinkering will be needed as of this date. Rocker arm final adjustments, a
new accelerator pump piston out of Viton will be needed for the carburetor
to run well with these new gasoline blends. A visit back to the place that
shortened the drive shaft to accommodate the longer 700-R4 overdrive will
be required as there is a bad vibration coming from the car relative to
road speeds only between 80 to 100 KPH (50 to 60 MPH. More to come!

1956 Pontiac Star Chief Low Mileage Survivor 317 V8 - Gateway Classic Cars
I thought you'd like a look at this very original 1956 Pontiac Star Chief.
This amazing survivor has only 74,xxx original miles on the odometer. It's
powered by the factory 317 V8, backed by an automatic trans. It has all
original interior and even the factory Air Conditioning. You won't find
too many out there like this anymore. It has a cool patina to it, that can
only be built up over decades of use. If it were me, I would leave this
car as it is and just have fun cruising it. I hope you find it
interesting....thanks for watching!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011
