This is the first run of my 1980 Camaro Z28 with the Year One Power Crate 350. I put a 750 Holley Double pumper. The car is currently on jackstands due to having the rear wheels locked up by the E-brake and I am trying to resolve a big header leak. Other than that, engine sounds great and I will have a better video once the car is outside. Enjoy.
If you listen closely, you can hear me already being yelled at by my wife, that the Exhaust is going right into the house, fun times.
Engine can be purchased directly from www.dereberyperformance.com just ask for Leon, he is great to deal with.
6V53TT Silver Detroit Diesel first start (part1)
Detroit Diesel Silver 6V53TT military being fired up for the very first
time ever. This unit was originally assembled in 1987 but was never used
and until this past year it sat the crate it was shipped in. This 53
series is one of the rare Silver units with cross head-pistons and a bypass
blower. It was designed as a single turbo, but has been upgraded to a twin turbo setup. A little sluggish to come awake for
the very first time, but now its a true screamin' demon!
1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 350 V8 Four Speed
I thought you might like a look at this very clean 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. It's a factory 350,
four-speed car with A/C. Everything works and it's nearly original
condition. They've make a few small changes like adding a Hurst Shifter,
upgrading the radio, and putting on some finned aluminum valve
covers....but for the most part it's original. It definitely looks like a
nice straight car all the way around. I thought you second gen Camaro fans would like to check
this one out. Thanks for watching!

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from

as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to

1980 Camaro Z28 autocrossing at the Miami Metro Zoo
This video is from May 19th, 2001. I was participating in an autocross at
the Miami Metro Zoo, which I believe was being sponsored by the Equipe
Rapide sports car club. The car is a 1980 Camaro Z28, driven by me, which
has since been sold. I sometimes really miss that car, but at the same
time, happy its gone.
