This is the first run of my 1980 Camaro Z28 with the Year One Power Crate 350. I put a 750 Holley Double pumper. The car is currently on jackstands due to having the rear wheels locked up by the E-brake and I am trying to resolve a big header leak. Other than that, engine sounds great and I will have a better video once the car is outside. Enjoy.
If you listen closely, you can hear me already being yelled at by my wife, that the Exhaust is going right into the house, fun times.

1980 Camaro fired up...finally!
Well, it's been a long wait, but I finally got the rebuilt engine and the rebuilt transmission back in. Here it is, all fired up for the first time. Please note that it only has headers on right now. That's why it's so loud!

6V53TT Silver Detroit Diesel first start (part1)
Detroit Diesel Silver 6V53TT military being fired up for the very first time ever. This unit was originally assembled in 1987 but was never used and until this past year it sat the crate it was shipped in. This 53 series is one of the rare Silver units with cross head-pistons and a bypass blower. It was designed as a single turbo, but has been upgraded to a twin turbo setup. A little sluggish to come awake for the very first time, but now its a true screamin' demon!

Here is a rare sight , two 1980 HUGGER's one with under 30'000. miles.
Original S.V.D. srtipes never removed or re-decaled.
This is HUGGER #71 of 90.
Problably one of a hand full that is unmolested and completely orinal.
Also pictured is HUGGER #25 of 90 .purchased in 1982 it's owner
has kept it since high school.
Recently undergoing a full restoration,and stored for many years a set of vintage
S.V.D. stripes were added after painting.
Also a concept Camaro is in the works , this car was the rarest Camaro S.V.D.

A little something for my darling daughter to drive in Detroit's now famous "Woodward Dream Cruise". 350 Short Block. Need to run the fan to cool it at idle. Can't hear the stereo. It moves!
