Paeroa 2012 F3 Race 2 SV650 Jason McCamish onboard
Paeroa Battle of the Streets Formula 3 race 2. I'm riding a fuel injected Suzuki SV650. Modifications are a full Yoshimura Exhaust system. An Ohlins rear shock and spring. Revalved and resprung front forks. Aside from that it's standard in accordance with Production Twin rules for the National events. The majority of the other bikes in my race are Formula 3 spec which means very few limits on modifications. Spoiler alert: Had a shocker of a start in this one, but worked my way back through from 8th to 6th in the 6 lap race. Was 5th equal for the day. Scored $125 prize money from this race. Thanks to all who've helped me over the years. After 3 years of working on this monster intermittently she's finally been started. Feels real good. Won't list all the hurdles here. But I think it's unique in the world.
