1965 Impala SS NASCAR - Morning practice Infineon Raceway Sears Point Oct 30, 2011
Oct 30, 2011 HSCRS (Historic Stock Car Racing Series) Morning practice in my 1965 Impala SS NASCAR with my Mom in the right seat enjoying every minute of it (legs crossed just enjoying the ride!). Amazing what 40 years of stock car development will do including lots of point bys but hell of a lot of fun running with the newer cars!

65 Chevy Impala SS open headers irritates my neighbor
Here's my original high school car, numbers matching (327 c.u.i.) bought in
1972. Decided to open the headers and cruise around my subdivision a
little, but end up ticking off my neighbor. I didn't even drive by his
house - he lives up the block the opposite direction. When he heads to the
back of my car to take a pic of my license plate, I realize this could turn
against me. Funny thing is, he doesn't actually recognize me until I get
out of the car - then we "share the love".
1965 Chevy Impala SS Hardtop Yel
An outstanding example! I like this Chevy restyle of 1965...the first with
curved side window glass and a car that looks wider than its predecessor.
The interior is top flite here. Factory air makes it habitable in Florida!
