APSA FUCHS Shootout held at Calder Park Raceway.
PRO622 Torana debuts
Mark Drew has stepped up into the Modified Street Unblown ranks with a new
big block 622ci Chev powered combo. The car had previously run 9.0
naturally aspirated with a small block 434ci setup.
NZV8 TV S3 Episode 5 - Powercruise, Holden HQ Kingswood, GP Hydroplaning - Part 1
On this week's show, we get down to the huge Powercruise event held
recently at the Taupo Motorsport Park. We have full coverage of the
Powerskids and all the Off Street Racing. It was an awesome event and it's
no suprise that's where we found this week's feature car -- a supercharged
Holden HQ Kingswood that had no issue turning rubber into smoke. After all
the excitement of Powercruise we needed to relax by the water so we caught
up with Australasian GP Hydroplaning champion Graeme Weller as he attempts
to set the World GP Hydroplane Speed Record.

Karen Keves' Holden HQ Monaro, known as "Marilyn" was unveiled at Meguiar's
MotorEx 2011, in front of thousands of show-goers and won:
• Champion Awards - GOLD for Undercarriage & Driveline
• Champion Awards - BRONZE for Overall Innovation
The paint work on the Monaro is a House of Kolor Orion Silver satin with
Nova Orange satin stripes.

HQ Monaro restoration *superbeast*
Restoration of my HQ Holden Monaro coupe. Here a few pictures from over the
last several years from the beginning when the car was roadworthy, through
the strip down and then built with a retro stye, fuel injected motor and
18" late model wheels in the first partial rebuild.
It was then stripped down again as I decided I really wanted more of a pro
street style with a highly modified driveline, built for drag racing, Dyno pulls and hopefully
some circuit racing.
This was just a quick video to entertain myself, but I hope you enjoy it
