We all know ESP as a positive safety feature that provides computer intervention when a driver pushes a car into a corner (or similar manoeuvre) at a speed that exceeds the vehicles cornering or handling capabilities. While a great safety feature it is also a source of frustration to a skilled driver in an HSV vehicle which has clearly been designed to provide a high level of driver input and excitement especially in controlled conditions, for example on a race track.

Walkinshaw enhanced 365kw E3 HSV LPI Clubsport with 3inch bimodal exhaust launch & drive by-HD
Please note video footage is best viewed in 720p/1080p HD and was taken during the new year holiday break on a quiet outer suburban road to ensure the safety of others. The launch was performed on lpg and comp mode was selected to prevent wheel spin. Drive by shows how quite the Exhaust can be when cruising and when you open it up past 3800rpm mark the sound that it makes when the vacuum operated valves open up with the bimodal system.





VYII HSV Maloo Driving Around The Town
Here is a video of my VY II HSV Maloo driving around with the 6000rpm 8" stall with NO lock-up clutch. In this video, the car is bolt-on mods only. That is: 1-5/8" Tri-Y headers, cats, twin 2.5" Exhaust, OTR, mafless tune, 25% UDP, 80mm TB, 3.91 diff gears, 918 valve springs, 19" street tyres... I took this video to show how easy a car is to drive with a large converter... people said that this car would be a nightmare on the street, totally undriveable... an animal in the wet AND the dry... but as you can see in this video, once you know how to drive smoothly and in a controlled manner, there is nothing wrong with a huge converter... The stall was built for another car which had a 244/248 cam, CNC'd Dart heads, Fast 90/90, big Exhaust, 4.11's... on that package it flashed to 6000rpm quite happily... in my car with a lot less HP it cannot flash all the way to 5k... but you can see how it works in my other In-Car drag vids... this is just to show daily driving type usage to see what it behaves like in the city and on the open road... Please excuse the diff whine... i don't know why the sound is so amplified but it's pretty bad... in the car - not so bad... And sorry for the poor quality sound...
