1977 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible STK # 1077.mov
This 1977 Volkswagen Beetle convertible is the perfect little car to cruise around in. Powering this VW is a 1600cc H4 converted to a carburetor setup and shifting power to the ground is a 4 speed manual transmission. The VW has 4 wheel disc brakes, manual convertible top, AM/FM/Cassette radio, custom wheels, seatbelts, and custom tan cloth interior. This white exterior with tan interior makes for a great color combination. 1966 VW Beetle - Body Removal - One Person - Remove Body Chassis Bug - (2x Speed)
Here's a short video showing the removal of my VW Beetle body from it's chassis. This is the first time I've attempted this solo. In the past, I've done it with the help of friends with each of us on a corner of the car. All things considered, it went pretty well. =) Hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes. The sawhorses are very similar to the ones you'll see in the BugMe videos.
