2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition Test Drive & Sports Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/corvette/2012/?id=32972 100 years ago Chevrolet was created. And to celebrate this centennial anniversary; Chevy has released a Special Edition Vehicle to commemorate this milestone. The 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition is one mean looking sports car that is sure to become a collector's item. The Corvette Z06 has a base price of $75,600 and the Centennial Special Edition Package adds $4950 to that total. The vehicle tested here also benefits from the Z06 Ultimate Performance Package which adds another $7500 onto the base price.
The Corvette Centennial Special Edition features a cool appearance package along with special edition wheels and a Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension. The first thing you notice on the exterior of the Corvette Centennial is the sexy Carbon Flash Metallic paint job. The Satin Black rims come with a great red accent stripe and are sized 19-inches up front and 20-inches in the rear. The tires are high-performance Michelin PS CUP Z-Rated tires. These bad boys measure 335/25ZR20 in the rear which provides a huge contact patch. The Magnetic Selective Ride Control Suspension comes equipped with a set of shocks that are filled with a magnetically active fluid that changes in viscosity to provide a firm or softer ride depending on the driving situation. Another great addition to the 2012 Chevy Corvette Centennial Z06 Special Edition is the massive Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes that come with Special Edition pained Calipers.
The 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial is powered by a huge 7.0 liter (427 cubic inch) V-8 engine that produces 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through an awesome 6-speed manual transmission. Fuel economy is not bad considering the power. The Corvette Z06 manages 15 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The Z06 engine is at home on the track and with the upgraded Centennial Package, a high-performance cooling system is added. The Corvette Z06 also has a top speed of 198 MPH.
On the inside the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial is both sporty yet comfortable. The seats are very supportive and feature nice suede inserts. Both the shift knob and the steering wheel are covered in suede. The Corvette is known for having one of the most futuristic heads-up display found on any vehicle. This driver focused unit displays vehicle speed, RPM's, lateral G-Force, and the engine oil temperature. There is a Bose sound system, Bluetooth, and Satellite Radio offered on the Corvette Z06.

2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
is known for luxury but make no mistake about it; the S550 is all about
performance. The full sized luxury sedan car market has some really great
cars including the Audi A8-L, the Lexus LS460-L, and the BMW 750iL. But the
2012 Mercedes S550 is at the top of the list. This vehicle combines a
powerful yet fuel efficient power plant, comfortable ride, and high end
technology into one beautiful package. The base price for the 2012
Mercedes-Benz S550 is $94,500.
The hugely powerful engine that lives in the S550 is a twin-turbo 4.6 liter V-8. This bad boy pumps out 429 horsepower and 516
lb-ft. of torque. All that power is transmitted to the wheels through a
7-speed automatic transmission. You can get the S550 in either rear-wheel
or all-wheel drive. 0-60 MPH is eclipsed in only 4.9 seconds. This is true
sports car performance out of a large high-end luxury sedan. Fuel economy
is surprisingly good at 15 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway.
To provide a luxurious ride you would expect from a high-end luxury car,
the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 has a few tricks up its sleeve. First the
AIRMATIC active suspension is computer controlled and will adjust to the
road conditions. There are 2 setting: Comfort and Sport. When you choose
sports the car automatically lowers a bit to improve aerodynamics and the
suspension tightens up. In Comfort mode the S550 provides a balanced
enjoyable ride. In addition to AIRMATIC the 2012 Mercedes S550 has an
Active Dampening System that will tailor the dampening force of the strut
every time there is any wheel travel.
On the inside of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 the driver and passenger are
bathed in premium luxury. The seats are wrapped in supple leather. Up front
the seats are both heated and ventilated for your pleasure. There is also
an option to upgrade to message seats which are so very comfortable. Heck
even the rear seats can come as 8-way power adjustable units. The
Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 sound system is comprised of 15 speakers throughout
the interior. This stereo has over 600 watts of music producing power. The
S550 comes packed with every bit of technological goodie you need
including: Bluetooth, Hard Drive Navigation, Satellite Radio, Rear Seat
Entertainment, and more.
There are many more optional features and packages you can add to the 2012
Mercedes S550. This may be the top of the heap for the long-wheel base
luxury sedan segment.

coupe model, sedan model, and a station wagon model. You can get any of
these vehicles with either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. The 2012
Mercedes E350 is not just about luxury; there is a lot of performance and
sport built into this vehicle. From a drivers perspective the E-350 does a
wonderful job of giving you just enough space to make you feel like you are

all-purpose vehicle great handling vehicle. The base price is $49,800.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E350 is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine. Power
output is 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of
torque. There is a 7-speed automatic transmission that aids in the fuel
economy department. Gas Mileage ratings are very good for a luxury sports
sedan at 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The Agility Control
suspension detects the road conditions and adjusts the suspension. When
your driving becomes more performance oriented the shocks firm up, and when
you are driving at a leisurely pace, the shocks provide a more luxurious
ride. There is an optional all-wheel drive system available. The 4MATIC
system features Electronic Stability Control and can vary the amount of
power being sent to the front or rear wheels depending on where it is
The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz E350 received a total redesign for the
2012 model year. The new bold lines, 3-bar grille, and sculpted hood give
the E-Class a very sporty look. Maybe the most noticeable feature on the
car is the LED Daytime Running Lamps and Taillights. These additions not
only aid in the styling of the Mercedes E350, but they also provide quicker
and brighter illumination which may prevent accidents. On the inside the
2012 Mercedes-Benz E350 combines both technology and luxury into one great
package. Along with supple leather, the E350 sports the finest hand

2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Track Test Drive & Muscle Car Video Review
Autobytel Road Test Editor T.J. Keon recently had the chance to test drive
the all new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 on the street as well
as on the track at Virginia International Raceway. The Camaro ZL1 sports a supercharged
V-8 engine that makes 580 horsepower. Base price for
the ZL1 is $54,095.
On the road the Camaro
ZL1 feels firm and planted, but the ride is not rough or harsh. In fact the
2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1
could make for a great daily driver. The Alcantara lined seats and steering
wheel feel great and are usually reserved for high end luxury cars. But
make no mistake; the ZL1 was designed to kick-butt!
One of the things that make the ZL1 special is the optional 20-inch
lightweight track wheel. These black 10-spoke rims are made from forged
aluminum for strength. The rims are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Generation
2 tires sized P285/35ZR20 up front and P305/35ZR20 out back. A huge Brembo
Brake package sits behind these sinister rims. Suspension chores are
handled by the Magnetic Ride Control System. The shocks are filled with a
magnetorheological fluid and the dampening levels are computer controlled
and adjusted up to 1000 per second. This makes for a comfortable ride on
the road and a more than capable ride on the track.
The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is powered by a
Supercharged Corvette engine dubbed the LSA. The 6.2 liter V-8 engine packs
an Eaton Supercharger on top. Power
output is 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft. of
torque. The Supercharger provides plenty
of torque at any RPM level so that the power is there whenever you want it!
You can choose between a Hydra-Matic 6-Speed Automatic Transmission
w/TAPSHIFT or Tremec 6-speed manual transmission.
The Camaro ZL1 can run
from 0-60 MPH in 4.0 seconds and can eclipse the ¼ mile in 12.0 seconds.
Top speed for the ZL1 is 180 MPH. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 19
MPG on the highway if you are wondering. On the road the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 pulls hard from
any RPM thanks to the flat torque curve provided by the Supercharger. Practically every part on the Camaro ZL1 was designed to
aid this Muscle Car in going fast. At just $54,095 the ZL1 can't be beat
when you are talking high performance for the money. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 sports the
amount of technology and horsepower you would expect
to find on a car costing 4 times at much.

2012 Nissan Titan PRO-4X Test Drive & Truck Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/titan/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Nissan Titan
PRO-4X was designed to go off-road and this truck is the answer to Ford's
F-150 Raptor. The base model full-sized Nissan Titan costs $28,160 with the
PRO-4X model tested here coming in at $37,910. But this is the top of the
line model that is decked out with all the bells and whistles. This price
point is still $7k-$8k lower than that of the Raptor. The Nissan intended
to produce a worth adversary to that of the full-sized American pick-up
truck. And the Titan has a bunch of great features going for it.
First off the 2012 Nissan Titan is one of the best looking trucks on the
market. The styling is pretty aggressive and the Color (dubbed Red Alert
Metallic) in this video looks spectacular. The Titan PRO-4X rides on beefy
BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires that are wrapped around nice looking
18-inch alloy rims. The PRO-4X is only available in 4WD which is a good
thing because if you are buying this truck, you better intend to take it
off-road. Some of the other standard features that make this truck tough
are the added skid plates, Rancho shock absorbers, and the lower final gear
The 2012 Nissan Titan PRO-4X is powered by a 5.7 liter V-8 engine that
produces 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy is 12 MPG in the city and 17 MPG on the highway. But
who cares about fuel economy when you are tearing up the trails. The Titan
comes with a tons of features and options including an OEM spray-on bed
liner, solid DANA axles, a Navigation system with 7" LCD monitor, power
everything, heated seats, tons of storage, and more.
