SEMA Rhys Millen Racing Hyundai Genesis Coupe
To learn more about the Hyundai Genesis Coupe please visit our forums at http://GenCoupe.com BUILDING THE RHYS MILLEN RACING HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE LAS VEGAS, Nov. 4, 2008 In February, Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) approached Hyundai Motor America with a unique concept to introduce the all-new 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe to the aftermarket and racing enthusiasts prior to its spring 2009 on-sale date. The RMR-designed Art of Speed Genesis Coupe called for a vehicle with the visual impact to win awards at the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show while boasting sufficient performance to put the driver in the winners circle the following weekend. Backed by Rhys Millens reputation both on the track and in the aftermarket, Hyundai delivered its first prototype Genesis Coupe 2.0T to the RMR shop on August 8, allowing just 12 weeks of build time before the doors opened at SEMA in Las Vegas on November 4. A crew of six RMR employees promptly stripped the car to bare metal. At the same time, the crew began custom-fabricating new aftermarket parts and accessories for the Genesis Coupe which are certain to be among the first available in the aftermarket once Hyundais newest addition takes to the streets next year. In the weeks that followed, RMR developed a machine that retains the distinct, bold look of the Genesis Coupe, but adds flair with custom components on the exterior, a radically altered racing-spec interior and serious performance enhancements from under the hood all the way to the pavement.

Mosport On Board 1:22.8 With Sasha Anis
In Car with Sasha Anis around Mosport with Kels - a humble Nissan 350z that once needed an additional 10 seconds per lap to get around this very track. That was when the car was in Koni Challenge GS trim. We continue development of the Z, following the LMS GT car design - a factory looking body with a naturally aspirated engine. 1:22's used to be as fast as the World Challenge GT cars went around Mosport in the late 2000's and would have been competitive in the ALMS GT field in 2000. Follow the car's development online at OnPointDyno.com - our next project will be the installation and testing of a MakTrak 6 speed sequential gearbox. The gearbox will use a strain gauge and gear position sensor controlled by the Motec M800 for closed loop flat shifting. Thanks to those that continue to support us: Jim Wolf Technology Jenvey Dynamics DJ Racecars SPL Parts Vibrant Performance Injector Dynamics Motec C3 Custom Carbon Composites As well as all of the guys that volunteer their time and effort to help with the never ending list of projects we have to continue to improve the car.

Kels VQ37HR 400whp TMP Test '13
After finishing Kels' new 3.7L VQ35HR motor, with JWT cams, JE high compression pistons, we take it to Toronto Motorsports Park (TMP) to test it out. Some damper work, aero work and suspension setup proved beneficial at the tight, bumpy track. Learn more about OnPointDyno at OnPointDyno.com
