Mopar Meet at Motegi, Drag Race Compilation
A video compilation of the drag race event held at the 2008 Mopar Meet in Motegi, Japan on June 22, 2008.
It was pure heads-up drag racing just for the fun of it, with no classes and no time-keeping, although there was a christmas tree for starts.
The field consisted of beautifully restored pure stock classic Mopars, modified street/strip machines reminiscent of the classic Super Stock/Pro Stock cars of the 60's and 70's, some modern Mopar muscle, and even a few Vipers.

All I can say is WOW and how cool it is to say we have this 1 of 119, 1968 ½ Mustang Coupe 428CJ in our inventory. On top of its rarity this Mustang set the IHRA B pure stock automatic National ¼ mile record at Raleigh County Drag way in Beckley West Virginia in 1979. It still has the paint markings on the intake, valve cover bolts, timing cover bolts this was so the track officials would know that it was 100% legal and if anything was altered. Also included are the original stickers from the drag.
This is a very rare car. As you can see in the photos this is an all numbers matching drivetrain. 428CJ block, heads, intake, 3rd Member, C6 Transmission, 31 spline axles and 3.91 traction lock rear end. We also have the Marti report as well.
As you can see in the photos on the drivers side fender where the vin is stamped it is missing the 5 digit this was very rare. This would happen sometimes on the "R" code and "S" code cars. This one should have had a R for a 428 but as you can see in the vin plate it is there so this is just another cool thing about this stang.
This car has had one paint job and still retains its original steel which is very solid. The wheel lips have been curled from when the car was ran at the track. The paint is avg and has some blemishes it is drivers quality but could easily be a six figure car restored. As you can see in the photos it is a very solid unit.

Combo consist of a stock non-fly cut OEM 302ci shortblock with aftermarket heads/cam/intake that makes 367RWHP SAE and it puts the power down through a diaphram clutch into a TKO transmission.
