WORLDS FASTEST BLOWN PRO MOD - Frankie Taylor 5.47@263mph
Frankie and Paul Taylor in their Larry Jeffer's Built Outlaw Pro Mod Corvette. This video features all of Frankie's record breaking passes from the Street Car Super Nationals at Gateway Motorsports Park in St. Louis. Frankie actually set a new 1/4 mile ET World Record on the first hit off of the trailer and then traded the record back and forth with the Q80 Twin turbo Camaro driven Turky Al Zafiri. The two cars met up in the finals where they laid down the Worlds Fastest side by side Pro Mod race of all time as both cars actually broke the World Record ET and MPH. The turbo car leaves with the ET and MPH World Record but Frankie Taylor is still the quickest and fastest blown Pro Mod on the planet. Hats of to entire Taylor Family Racing Team.

Tony and Gillian Argentino - The Hitman - blown alcohol Chev
Tony and Gillian Argentino's 1936 Chev drag racer is known as "The Hitman", and is a theme car that represents history from America, which now resides in Perth, Western Australia. With its curvy shapes and vivacious body, the car represents beauty, charm and character, all whilst the tough supercharged and injected alcohol burning engine provides power for the machine. Recent testing of the car got Tony familiar with all of the levers and buttons, and the crew kept the car working good enough through two successive race days and acquired several personal best times along the way. When testing a car of this caliber, power and driver need to familiarize and adjust, and the team was exceptional in achieving what they have in just three outings. Hitman Racing is also heavily involved off the track where Gillian takes care of marketing the car. She has been involved with the establishment of Supercharged Outlaws in Western Australia, and more info and merchandise is available from http://www.superchargedoutlawswa.com.au Tony has been racing on and off since he was 17 (23 years) starting in street, then modified until Outlaws started in WA and is best known for their previous car, a 1934 Ford 3 window coupe altered. This Hitman car was purchased from Terry Hall of Terry Hall Race Car Bodies in Vermont USA. It was running Pro-Mod and the Super Chevy series and has a best time of 6.30 @ 220mph. The Argentino's purchased the car as a roller, and are using the engine and gearbox from their old '34. The car is a 1936 Chevy Master (carbon fibre), it has a chrome-moly chassis, 442 cubic inch Chevy (iron block) and the engine is built and maintained by Tony. Induction comes from a 14-71 Littlefield hi-helix retro Supercharger, it has an FTC converter and 2-speed Powerglide, and the rear end is a Mark Williams modular rear with Strange Ultracase 4.56 gears and 40 spline axles. Tony and Gillian would like to thank all of the crew for their help, Kwinana Performance for parts and the hands on effort of the Boss and staff who also double as Crew. 1960 Peterbilt Hotrod Truck called Piss'd Off Pete
While I was at SEMA 2009 a captured a video of Piss'd Off Pete's engine being revved up in front of a huge SEMA crowd just down from the Autogeek.net booth. This is Jay Leno's 1960 chopped Peterbilt with a 852ci two-stroke Detroit Diesel twin-supercharged V12 mated to an Allison 4-speed automatic transmission from a Greyhound bus. The engine produces 500 horsepower and nearly 1000 lb-ft torque with a red line of just 2,800 rpm. Built by the Blastolene Brothers. See more pictures at www.autogeekonline.net
