1968 Shelby Cobra GT500KR
November 5, 2011 -- Earl Cornwell Jr., Auctioneer and Owner of Earl's
Auction Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, presides over the sale at auction
of the Hughbanks Estate, Plainfield, IN.
The centerpieces of the sale included a number of antique and collectable
automobiles... including a 'nearly original' 1968 Shelby Cobra with just
over 9,100 actual miles.
Watch as the bidding quickly jumps to over six figures, finally to close at
a World Record Price of $253,000.
In the end, the vehicle is loaded and delivered, with Police escort, to the
new owners location. Let's hope that one day this beauty will be shared for
the enjoyment of all antique auto / muscle car enthusiasts.

(Restoration of a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda) PROJECT FISH - PART 01
Outside of my airsoft hobby, I have this one. "Muscle" cars. Funny, in
THIS generation, it is called "muscle" cars..... Way back then, it was
just a car.....
Maybe this generation discerns the difference between "ricer", "rice
burner", "tuners", "classic car" and "muscle cars".
This is my friends 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. It will be a LOW COST,
ground-up restoration. No media blasting, not even sand blasting. Cannot
afford that "luxury". I will be using various ways to remove the old
paint, and spot checking for rust holes.
Part one is rust check and paint removal. As well as showing the small
block 340 that will go in the car affter we prep and paint the "engine
This is the first of MANY videos that will span the course of over one

Original Barn find 1968 GT500 Shelby
This car is completely original down to the tires! This one of a kind find
has never been washed since resurfacing from an undisclosed location in
Georgia. This Shelby is a true barn find and yes, it does start and is
driven on and off it's enclosed trailer to various car shows. The seats
have been changed back to the original ones that came in the car along with
all the SHELBY letters that are missing. The car is a rare automatic.
1969 MACH ONE Mustang Restoration Part 2 (FOR SALE)
This video highlights the Restoration of our 1969 MACH ONE 428-Cobrajet
Project. This is a true "R" code car! It came equipped with all of the
Bells & Whistles, including Air Conditioning and Power Steering, which is
underway of installation as I type. This car too has been equipped with a
full, 4-wheel disk brake option.
This car is special in that when it was ordered, it was equipped with a
"Special Paint" Ford # Unknown option. The Marti report finds this to be
accurate as does it also reflect in the door data tag. The original owner
did not like the two reds that were available that year, (Indian Fire &
Candy Apple), so he had a special paint ordered, making this a True, Rare
Find, 1 of 1 Car! You simply cannot and will not find another car like this
Since this car was indeed a "Special Paint- Ford # Unknown Code," we
decided to apply the "Viper Red!" Although any color placed on the car
would be technically correct, we liked the Viper!
Where possible, every part restored so far has been with NOS or OEM type
materials. Although this has made the restoration process much longer, we
think it has been well worth it and feel that you will too.
The car simply speaks for it's self. "FLAWLESS!" However we would love to
answer any questions that you might have...
This car will be going up for sale Late-Summer of 2007, but we will
certainly entertain any offers that you may wish to make as it sits today.
If you would like to come see her in person, we would be willing to set up
an appointment with you.
As "Geraldine" will go home with only the Premium Bidder, please, only
Serious Buyers need contact us.
Thanks again for taking a look!

Restoration of a rare 1963 Corvette Convt Fuelie completed. Found this
diamond in the ruff in a garage in downtown Est st Louis . One owner,
original window sticker ! After restoration of the 63 vette we took it
back home to where it had spent it's whole life. The red corvette was off
the road and buried for 25 years in the hood.. Neighbors recognized the car
when it was new the day we took it back to the original owners house. We
also visited the old deserted garage from which we uncovered this little
jewel. The garage was once was a thriving business but shut down years ago
and the house is just beautiful with so much potential but it too is empty.
So we took the 63 back home and made a few memories....Thanks for
