SMOKYA F350 Ford Diesel Drag Racing Compilation

A compilation of Al Galloway in his F350 Ford Diesel Dragster from both Heathcote Park Raceway and Calder Park Raceway in Victoria. This is one of a kind in Australia although Al has mentioned to the Hp Heaven crew that the deisel racers are big in America. Iconic with its two big plumes of smoke coming out of the Exhaust pipes when Al launches it off the line, the big effy is hard to miss. And to top it all off this bad boy doubles as Al's daily driver, so you know it's consistent!

The 6.6-liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. This engine was initially installed in 2001 model year Chevy and GMC trucks and has been an option since then in pickups, vans, and medium-duty trucks. In 2006, production at Moraine was reportedly limited to approximately 200,000 engines per year.[1] On May 9, 2007, DMAX announced the production of the 1,000,000th Duramax V-8 diesel at its Moraine facility.[1] The Cummins B Series is a family of straight-four and straight-6 diesel truck and industrial piston engines manufactured by Cummins. The B Series is known for displacing "one liter per cylinder" because of the popular 3.9 litres (238.0 cu in) straight-four and 5.9 litres (360.0 cu in) straight-six. A 3.3 litres (201.4 cu in) straight-four is also available. The B Series is widely used in many segments, including pickup trucks (the Dodge Ram), buses, military vehicles, construction equipment, and marine. Some of the construction and marine applications have actually featured two B series Cummins engines. The engine was originally designed by Cummins and Case Corporation for commercial truck applications, and appeared in a light-duty truck, the Dodge Ram, in 1989.
