this is a 2006 tiburon gt that i did a custom turbo kit to. in this video i show my new set up and some short pulls in second (trying to get traction) at 6psi. this is still on the stock clutch and injectors, i do have bigger injectors to put in when spring comes. i also have my winter tires on

together.. At the time it wasnt tuned yet and with stock injectors so no
pulls and WOT in this video... I have track/Dyno videos and even short pulls
on my channel that I uploaded after I got the car tuned at Digitun
Made 282whp and 232wtq (lb-ft) on the Dyno on low Boost (0.4bar).
Supercharged Tiburon GT - Exhaust cutout Exhaust cutout installed on my
supercharged Hyundai Tiburon GT.
Some will call this "ricer", but i personnaly have a lot of fun with that
mod. I love to be able to switch so easily between a "normal" sound an a
"rally car" sound. Don't ask if performance is better when cutout is
opened, i haven't Dynoed it yet ; it may be, but
not by much, considering the welding shop replaced more of the piping than
planned so it's 2.5" until it splits to the Evofusion dual 2".
5 years ago, i had bought a Evofusion catback. It was ok for NA mods, but
i'm now supercharged, and i'm about to install an even bigger MP90 Supercharger, so that tiny 2.25" catback was
becoming a problem. But i loved its sound and the looks of its tips. So i
had most of the catback replaced by some 2.5" piping, except for the rear
that remained the original Evofusion. I had the Exhaust cutout placed between the 2.5 and the
2.25" section (i had first tried it just after the headers and the sound
was totally unbearable). My objective was to keep a bearable sound when
cutout was opened, thanks to the resonator. But the Magnaflow muffler 10436
muffler proved not to be enough to reduce sound, even with closed cutout,
so i deleted the Hurricane high flow cat and replaced it with a Vibrant
1141 resonator which did quite a good job to bring sound to a more decent
level. The final result, when cutout is closed, is a deeper and a bit
louder sound than with the unmodified Evofusion Exhaust, and a very agressive rally sound when
cutout is opened.
