on 6th gear (SAE Corrected) with sport mode on and vehicle stablilty
control completely off. The numbers on 7psi and 91 octane gas is 515whp and
527wtq @ 5300rpm. The baseline numbers on this Lexus IS-F with the same Dyno on 91 octane gas is
333whp and 335wtq at 5300rpm.

What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the 2014 IS: For 2014 the every
popular Lexus IS gets a full makeover boasting more technology and better
fuel economy and exterior design language. The Lexus IS debuted in 2001 and
while it had intentions of beating the BMW 3 Series in sales in never
really did so. The 2nd generation IS however was 3 times more popular than
the 1st generation but it still did not beat sales of the 3 Series. So can
this 3rd generation finally reach it's goal after 13 years? Powertrains in
the new IS are pretty much the same as the outgoing model a 2.5 L or a
powerful 3.5 L V6 are still present, however the new 3.5 L comes with a new
8-Speed Automatic which makes better fuel economy. Room on the interior is
roomier than it's every been before, however it still feels cramped even
with 4 full size adults the new 2014 Infiniti Q50 and Cadillac ATS will fit
the bill if you want more room. On the exterior design Lexus has flared it
up a bit, while some can still easily tell it's an IS things are changed
from the LED Daytime running lights separating from the main headlights to
the sleek taillights and to the new spindle grill design that some love or
hate. Everything feels quite familiar on the new IS within the interior
with nice supportive and extremely comfortable front seats and to it's
mouse like pad that can be a distraction but it's very easy to use. High
quality materials are also very evident. There are many packages to choose
from on the new IS, however one of the more notable packages will be the F
Sport Package which will add even more flare to the exterior design.
Driving dynamics on the IS are not bad, however the 3 Series and ATS will
be the one if you want better driving dynamics. Pricing on the new IS
starts at around $35,000 and can run you to almost $50,000 depending on
options you choose from. Now compared to it's competitors the new IS is
definitely an improvement over the outgoing model and we really praise it
for it's ultra luxurious interior and a flaring design as well as the
powerful 3.5 L V6. We also really love the improved fuel economy numbers
and more technological features. So is the new IS competitive? Yes it is,
most IS buyers are looking for a luxurious interior with a nice amount of
technology as well as decent driving dynamics.
