What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Flex: When the Flex was
introduced in 2009, many consumers thought it was a unique full sized
crossover SUV. One question, is it a real crossover? Somewhat, it's half
wagon and half crossover and we love it that it's unique. For 2013 the Flex
gets a host of new updates including a reworked interior and Front
headlights that make it look more sporty and fresh for the competition.
Power comes from a 3.5 L V6 or step up and get a 3.5 L Twin turbo V6 and they are all made into a 6-Speed
Automatic. Room on the interior is somewhat good and it's very luxurious.
Our tester came in at around $50,000, so is it worth it? Well some people
might think so because it's unique however we would buy it if the price was
lowered by about $7,000, even Ford has it's own full Size crossover the
Explorer that has more room inside and you get more bang for the buck. All
in all it's a very great crossover from Ford, we think that the people that
like unique cars will buy this crossover.
7-seat crossover comparison test
We test the Dodge Durango, Ford Flex EcoBoost, and Honda Pilot to see how different
large crossovers can be.
So: a wagon-like Ford, a car-based Honda, and a truck-based Dodge? Yeah,
that's pretty different.
2013 Ford Flex 0-60 Mile High MPH Test Performance Test
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Ford Flex is a three row people hauling
machine. You can think of it as Ford's interpretation of a modern station
wagon. The big and boxy Ford is quiet, comfortable and of course roomy. It
can swallow up to 7 people and their stuff. Our test car didn't have the
optional EcoBoostturbo engine but it was equipped with
all-wheel-drove for when the snow starts to fall in Colorado. In this
TFLcar performance we wanted to see how fast the non-turbo charged Flex would go from 0-60 MPH at a
mile above sea level.

EcoBoost's Secret Sauce
Stricter fuel-economy standards are forcing automakers to rethink their
vehicle strategies. The price of oil is also playing a big role in this
upheaval. One way OEMs can meet these tough new laws -- and keep consumers
from going bankrupt when they fill the tank -- is by offering smaller,
forced-induction engines. There are many examples of this in the market
today, but probably the best known is Ford's EcoBoost lineup. Learn what makes Dearborn's
implementation of this technology different from that of other automakers.

2013 Ford Flex EcoBoost Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
Meet the often forgotten entry from Ford in the crossover SUV segment,
while it's looks may turn some folks away, we seriously suggest test
driving both it and the Explorer before making your final decision for a
family vehicle if you want to stay in the Ford lineup

2011 Ecoboost vs 2005 H2 Tow off
My brother and I wanted a laugh so we made this video. This is a 2005 H2 in
4x4 high vs my 2011 F150 EcoBoost
also in 4x4 high. This is a battle of traction and power. The F150 had no
trouble spinning the tires with the LT 275/70R18 Duratrac tires, where the
H2 couldn't even break loose.
2013 Ford Flex EcoBoost Car Video & Crossover Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/flex/2013/ The 2013 Ford Flex is a crossover
vehicle that has won the hearts of many owners out there. Part car, part
van, and part station wagon; the Flex is full of surprises. Can any other
station wagon haul seven people and all their gear with over 365 horsepower? There are 3
different trim levels starting with the SE which costs $30,885, the SEL
which costs $33,225, up to the Limited EcoBoost AWD which costs $43,850.
There is quite a big gap there but the 3 different trims come in either FWD
or AWD configurations. The SE and SEL are powered by a 3.5 Liter V-6 that
pushes 285 horsepower while getting 18
MPG in the city and 25MPG on the highway. Step up to the twin-turbocharged V-6 EcoBoost engine with AWD will cost you a few
miles per gallon (16 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway), but you
get 365 horsepower
and 350 lb-ft. of torque in return.
The 3rd row seating features a 50/50 split folding bench. The 2013 Ford
Flex is quite versatile and there is a ton of cargo room with over 80 cubic
feet of storage space. The doors are large enough to make entering and
exiting the vehicle a breeze. There is a lot of legroom for adults. Also
the Flex can be purchased with all the Ford technology available like Voice
Activated Navigation to the SYNC in-car connectivity system.
On the outside there is no mistaking the 2013 Ford Flex with any old
crossover or station wagon. The styling is bold and Ford took some risks
with the interesting grille up front, chrome accents, and the grooved door
panels that run down the side of the Flex. The two-tone paint gives the
Flex a modern throw-back feel. The large 20-inch aluminum wheels make a
visual statement. The 2013 Ford Flex is definitely one of the coolest
crossover cruisers out there.
