1974 Pontiac Firebird
1995, when i first got a cam corder... I would tape anything and everything. This is some footage of my friends 1974 Pontiac Firebird which he built from the ground up. the engine is a Chevy 350. Eventually he got rid of the car due to a clunking sound in the engine which turns out to be a 'chuck' key (drill) that had fallen inside the intake manifold.
Also features, was my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am rust bucket. before the car went to the junkyard, it had frame connectors, 6 point roll cage, 3.73 richmond gears and a front PST suspension kit. when I moved to a nicer non Redneck area, i junked the car.

Special, not as in short bus, but as in big block with the hard to find, functional Ram Air hood and it is intact! A pretty black bird for the Firebird fans, this is a sweet survivor of the days when most car manufacturers had given up on affordable performance.
