The MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as the Y2K Turbine Superbike, is a
wheel-driven motorcycle powered by a turboshaft engine, created by Ted McIntyre of
Marine Turbine Technologies. The machine is powered by a
Rolls-Royce-Allison Model 250 gas turbine producing 320 hp (240 kW) at
52,000 rpm. Unlike some earlier jet-powered motorcycles, where a massive
jet engine provided thrust to push the motorcycle, the turboshaft engine on this model drives the rear
wheel via a two-speed gearbox.

The engines used in the motorcycles are second-hand, having reached the
FAA-mandated running time limit, after which they have to be rebuilt,
regardless of condition. To get around the problem of procuring the
kerosene usually used in turbine engines, the engine is also able to use
diesel, or jet fuel.
In 2008, MTT released the "Streetfighter," another jet-bike with a more
powerful 420 hp (310 kW) engine. See all our videos on the channel

Saturn S-Series Strut Replacement
Here I show how to remove and replace a strut and spring assembly on my
2002 Saturn SL2. Recently broke a spring which prompted me to replace not
only the spring but a worn out strut. I also went ahead and replaced the
rear strut assemblies as well since I was unsure when the last time they
were replaced(if at all).
After replacing these parts be sure to bring it to a shop to have an
I hope this helps.

Jay Leno was up at the Rock Store with his Y2K Jet Engine superbike on
Jan-10-2010 (Just like he said he would be on his show), wanted to get a
short clip of what this thing sounds like when it starts up. Very cool.
Input/output shaft nut replacement on 99 Saturn SL2
This is a step by step procedure on how to replace and re-torque an Input
shaft nut on 99 Saturn SL2.
Note: You need to re-torque the output shaft nut as well. Also, a new or
rebuild valve body is needed in order to solve the reverse slam
problem. I bought one from ebay for about $124 from
( IMPORTANT: There was a typo on the 1st slide
Input shaft nut = 111 ft-lb, not 11 ft-lb)
As of today (1/14/2010), No reverse slam, no delay shifting :)
2001 Saturn SL2 Engine Noise
2001 Saturn SL2 DOHC AutoTrans 140k miles
has been run with the oil level below the dipstick at least twice. my
sister used to drive it regularly in short trips. one day I drove it and it
made a quiet ticking noise. i think it was roughly one week later that the
noise got really loud. I checked the oil and it was below the dipstick. I
filled it to the Full line. I removed the cam cover and spark plugs and
didn't see anything wrong. I removed the accessory belt and recorded this
video with a home-made stethoscope rigged to a microphone. can you help me
figure out what this car would need to make it work reliably again?
