1967 Karmann Ghia Convertible Part Many of manyJuly14, 2011

After owning this 1967 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible for 22 years it is finally going to the body shop!! I took it in on July 14, 2011. I will be posting pictures on a monthly base. Going back to the factory paint color and that is a Cherry Red L554. It looks more maroon than red. If you have any suggestions on interior colors please let me know. Upholstery for that year model was India red, Khaki Brown, Black, Light Sand. Any suggestions for good places to buy parts let me know. I know about Sewfine, Mid America Motor Works, M & T MFG., Mofoco parts and accessories for VW vehicles, AirheadParts/Karmann Ghia.com and House of Ghias. I am trying to keep the vintage, classic, image and upholstery look of this car. I plan on using this as maybe my weekend or daily driver.I have a 65 vw bug with the original 1200 cc engine and 6 volt system. It may become my daily driver or weekend car. I just love how the car runs or putts around.

1971 Karmann Ghia Walk Around and Drive
Hey VW fans let's take a late fall drive in my new '71 Karmann Ghia Convertible. Take a look at the full description and photo and video shoot I took of this classic 1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible here: http://www.sunsetclassics.com/1971-karmann-ghia-convertible/ Give me a call if you want to take her home. Karmann Ghia - Convertible Top Install - Part 1 - Header Bow and Frame Adjustments
The first steps of installing the new convertible top. Installing a new wood header bow, adjusting the frame header junction, adjusting the rear glass and installing the webbing straps. Check out the vids on the rear glass frame and seal here: http://youtu.be/qj3o8qUEcgA (part 1) http://youtu.be/BiQnliKjQDw (part 2)

Karmann Ghia - Convertible Top Installation - Part 4 - Outer Canvas
It been a long time since the last video on the install (September 2012 to be exact). The top arrived from TMI by way of HOG and this video shows the installation of the canvas top onto the headlined and padded frame. I will have one more video in this series showing the finishing touches and adding all the necessary seals around the windows.

1967 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible Test Drive in Sonoma CA
Visit http://www.leftcoastclassics.com/1967-vw-karmann-ghia-convertible/ to see this cool classic 1967 VW Karmann Ghia convertible for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. Join us for a little test drive in this super solid, clean vintage Karmann Ghia in excellent shape. Body looks great and the new paint has a nice, deep shine. Excellent trim and chrome with lots of new rubber, crisp, clear windshield, excellent tires and brakes. Engine in excellent condition, rebuilt less than 10k miles ago with dual carburetors and runs like a champ. Shifting is tight and smooth as well. The interior still has some original patina'd areas like the original square weave rugs, giving it a nice vintage feel. Otherwise the front seats and panels have been replaced along with the headliner and newer cloth top and boot cover. The floors and rockers are super solid. Everything is in great working order. We are currently replacing the fuel sender so that will be completed at time of shipping. Important to note that 1967 is a low production year making it pretty rare since only 4,100 were built. 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible for Sale
Visit http://www.sunsetclassics.com/1971-karmann-ghia-convertible/ to see this great barn find - a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible sold by Sunset Classics. This cute little Ghia has lived in a barn for the past 24 years! It is happy to be in my garage with other good VW company, but I already have a yellow Ghia Convertible so this one is up for sale. The long-time owner said he took the car out every year to keep things fresh. When I looked at the car he admitted it had been 3 years since it had been driven. The barn was on a dirt road way out in the Minnesota prairie. It was a fun find. Convertible Karmann Ghias are definitely one of my favorite barn finds for a classic car. Enjoy the video and then take a look at the link above for the full description as well as 2 photo galleries of this fun classic Karmann Ghia. Thanks for watching, please give her a thumbs up if you like her and subscribe for more great classic car videos. If you are interested in buying a Karmann Ghia give me a call!
