99 Subaru Forester Engine Removal
Postmortum of pulling the engine by a newbie that's never pulled a FWD
engine. Hope it helps anyone also doing this the first time.
Car has 200K miles, engine has been loosing coolant & overheating.
Leakdown test and coolant system pressure test are fine. No water found in
oil or vise-versa but the inside of the overflow tank is sooty and these
engines are notorious for blowing head gaskets.

first glance I thought it was a Stagea but as we got closer we realised it
was anything but a Nissan chassis... The owner has built this Honda CR-V
from the ground up over two years and it features a fully custom
drivetrain, interior, Endless brake package front and rear, not to mention
the turbocharged B18C making 500hp and a
Top Secret R34 front bumper assembly that has been double stacked for
Absolute mindblowing build and totally unexpected!!

Honda Civic Rebirth
My 1991 Honda Civic hatchback rebuild. The car was in really bad shape and
desperately needed TLC, so I went ahead and restored her from scratch with
the help of a few buddies who run a shop. The whole process took about 9
months, hence 'The Rebirth' title which seems to go along well like it's a
new born baby.
The motor is B16A with: CTR pistons, full Omni valvetrain, CAT cams, ITR
IM, Mild P&P head, H22A injectors, OBD1 converted, and stock B16A header.
The Exhaust is Apexi WS2. The actual
numbers at the dynapack are pretty embarrassing (I was just trying to get
her to run efficiently for the emissions test, which she passed no
problem). I have no idea what this motor is capable of. I'll post more
vids once she's fully tuned. Props to Nick at Teknotik for the tuning.
*Parts alone for this project costed about $5K to 6K. I did the labor with
the help of my buddies and bodywork was done by an affiliate. So I spent
roughly $10K in total. I plan to keep this car forever so I don't see 10K
as much money at all.
Building a Ls/vtec motor
Built a Ls/vtec motor for a friend. LS block, CTR pistons, CTR cams, ported
head, Just to show I just dont know DSM's lol

new set of close ratio transmission, after a friend broke most of all teeth
fit in a re-done transmission of a spare one, but didn't work really well.
But still make very competitive lap time.
