UPDATE: for all those who think this method means the motor wont last, here
is a video from friday april 5th 2013 of the car still running strong, its
been over a year and around 10k miles of hard beating.

honda in a couple days with upgraded internals and not removing the engine
or doing any machine work.
also for those saying you need to do some sort of easy break in period i
think you need to read this article , the old fashioned ways are long gone

JDM UKDM Hondas - South Mimms - JUNE'11
A collection of JDM and UKDM Honda's at the South Mimms meet,
It was the hotest day in June +30degs, bright sunshine, short skirts and
windows down, A reciepe for a good meet!
Sure enough I was not dissapointed, hundreds of honda's turned up to what
is fast becoming, the most popular Honda meet in the UK.
We met up at Ace Cafe 1pm, then we all convoyed over to Mimms. I got some
shots on the go and then the rest of the footage is from the event. By the
time we got there it was already rammed and the cars just kept turning up.
Ok, I'm not normally one for excuses but this was the first time i'd used
my new 60d at Mimms and to be honest I was a little underwhelmed at the
results. There are some nice shots in there but on the whole I think I was
trying to use it like a video camera rather than a DLSR, it seems that
there are reasons why all the DSLR stuff is shot smoothly and slowly.
Anyway lets not dwell on that as there footage shows the cars that were
there and thats the important thing after all.
On a side note, I'm buying some more equipment to make filming with the
Canon 60d a little easier so the next shoot should come out better than
INTEGRA TYPE-R ::: turbo conversion ::: HD
Last year TDi North posted a thread on the itrdc5 forum (www.itr-dc5.com)
saying that they'd developed a turbo kit
suitable for the EP3 and the DC5 Type R's. I got straight onto the phone to
find out more. After not very much convincing I agreed to make the trip up
north and go to see the guys in person. With the promise of a good nose
around their facility, time for all my questions and a quick spin in Ben's
EG it was an easy sell!

After literally 2minutes of that first test drive in Ben's EG I knew that I
not only wanted...but needed a turbo
fitted to my car! If you haven't experienced it (turbo Honda) ...It really is as good as everyone
Back at the workshop the conversation started to get serious. After I'd Exhausted all possible questions and my
mind was put at ease the deal was done. TDi North agreed to use my car to
develop the kit and offered a discount on the basis that I would document
the whole process and turn it into a video.
The date was set, materials ordered and I went back on my merry way with a
beeming smile on my face.
The time dragged waiting for the date to come round but eventually the day
of the conversion came.
I was booked into a local hotel for a week while the conversion took place.
During that week I went down to the workshop every day to document the
whole process, film interviews, ask questions and generally and get in the
