Here's a cool car all by itself -- the 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Bright metallic blue with a white vinyl top, color matched wheels, a clean interior and a lower price tag than big brother 442s. Not only is the car in great shape but it's affordable and a dream to drive!
This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass is a true classic. The metallic blue paint is beautiful and looks great with the white vinyl top. The pin-striping is very well done and ads a detailed look to the body. The body lines are straight; there isn't a wave or ripple in sight. To be completely honest, I would say the chrome bumpers are in average shape. The body gaps, door and trunk lips and jambs are clean and rust free.
Raise the hood and check out the 350ci motor (casting # 395558) and the 350 turbo transmission. The proper shade of Oldsmobile gold paint covers the motor while smooth satin black does the same for the rest of the compartment. The headers have some scale on them, but they are solid. There is a chrome intake, HEI distributor, painted alternator, newer clutch fan, new wiper motor, and a new battery. Up front you will see the rebuilt radiator. Notice that the car was originally equipt with A/C, but there is no compressor now. It would be an easy to get the A/C running if that is something you require in your cruiser. The motor fires up willingly and runs great!
Fresh black chassis paint coats the frame and floorboards. The rockers are in great shape, you can still see the spot welds, and there isn't a speck of rust anywhere. There's a new Exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, and a new gas tank. You'll see new brake lines, new fuel lines and rebuilt springs and air shocks. A 10 bolt posi-traction lives out back. The lower control arms have been boxed in for extra support. 4 wheel drum brakes and 14" BF Goodrich Radial T/A's grace the corners and complete the package.
Open up the door and check out the interior of this Cutlass. All of the wood grain detail in the door panels, dash and console really add to the classy feel of this Olds. The carpet, headliner and upholstery are in good shape. In between the bucket seats sits the console and shifter. A trio of aftermarket gauges under the dash keep better tabs on the motor than the stockers while remaining the only non stock item in the interior -- I'm not sure you could ask for more!

1971 Olds 442 W-30 455V8 Muscle Car - Low Original Miles
I thought you'd like a look at this very nicely restored 1971 Olds 442 Muscle Car. It is a numbers matching original with only 54xxx miles since new. It's equipped with the W-30 option package which included a factory blueprinted Rocket 455, with H-heads, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carb, and forced air induction. This is one of the last true muscle cars. This car is one of only 920 produced with the W-30 option that year. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. 1986 Chevy Silverado C10, short bed, with a recent frame off restoration. New 383ci full roller stroker engine with Pro Action angle plug heads with stud girdles, 620 lift roller cam, Holley 780 double pumper, headers, dual Exhaust, Flowmasters, TCI turbo 350 trans, Posi rear end. 1971 Cutlass Supreme for sale!!!!!
This is a all original 1971 Cutlass Supreme. I have the original window stickers, documentation, protecto plate and etc all from 1971. Its a Mississippi car. It has 95,000 original miles, 4-barrell 350 Rocket (Gold Block) and 350 transmission. Car runs, drives, and looks great. You can hop in it anytime and drive it anywhere!!! Car is very well kept. The floor pans are solid and the trunk pan is solid, but not as the floor, but it does not have holes. The body is real solid with the only major rust issue is on the trunk lid has rust on the lip where it says Oldsmobile and I have a picture of that. The pain is original and the vinyl top as well. The top looks as it was installed yesterday. The interior is excellent, but the carpet needs to be changed. The headrest and sun visor is cracked from the sun and needs to be reupholstered. The AC blows, but needs to be charged. Everything works, but the radio and the gas gauge. Even the cigarette lighter works. I have changed the center link, Exhaust, fan clutch, rear shocks and springs and hancook tires. NO MECHANICAL ISSUES AT ALL.

I thought you'd like a look at this awesome 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 convertible. This car is powered by the 455 Rocket V8 that is pumping out over 370 HP and 500 LbFt of torque. It has been nicely restored all the way around and it features some interesting and desirable options. It has the Hurst "His and Hers" shifter, the tic toc tach, and the functional ram-air hood. First in a bunch of old car reviews...
Muscle cars faced an uncertain future in 1972. Tougher government standards, increased insurance rates and a trend towards less expensive, more economical cars proved to be more than a match for even Detroit`s most potent powertrains. As a result, automakers talked less about hot engines and high performance (Heavy Chevy!)
Styling changes were held to a minimum in `72. The aging Cutlass was upgraded with a new grille and egg crate taillights. Interiors were cloth and vinyl.
The 4-4-2 was downgraded from a separate series to an option pack, The cost, with a 3-spd Hurst shifter, was $150 in the Cutlass, and $72 in the Supreme.
The appearance package consisted of a body and hood striping, special grille, hood louvers and badges. The handling package contained Rallye suspension, with heavy duty shocks and springs, bars, and control arms,and 14 x 7 hoops.
Options included 70-14 white letter tires, dealer installed spoiler, a $70 option. For $75, super stock II or III wheels were available. Rocket Rallye Pac instrumentation added $85 to the bill.
Government regulation had taken their toll on the Cutlass. Standard engines were a 160 or 180 hp slug, but 2 optional engines were around for the 4-4-2. One of them was a L-75 Rocket 455, punching in at 270hp. The other was part of the W-30 performance pack, which cost about $600, depending on options. The killer was a 300 hp L-77 which sucked back air thru a W-25 dual intake forced air hood.
Standard W-30 equipment included a special paint scheme, heavy duty radiator, front disc brakes, and a 4 gear tranny with Hurst shifter, or turbo 400. The `72 4-4-2 ran the 0-60 in 6.6, compared to 6.1 in 71. Trap speed fell from 97 to 92 mph.
Total 4-4-2 production in 72 consisted of 751 Cutlass hardtop coupes, 7800 Cutlass Supreme hardtop coupes, and 1171 Supreme convertibles. Olds dropped the 4-4-2 in `74 but brought it back as an option on some Cutlass models.

This is my car with my 434 Oldsmobile Stroker Small Block. It took me a little longer then expected to get it to were it is now but this thing runs great. It was a tame video because there was alot of people out and about in the parking lot. Wait for the next video
