Le Mans 24 Hours 2011 Incredible 340+ kph overtake in the dark by Anythony Davidson!
Lead battle! Anthony Davidson passes Marcel Fässler in a stunning manner in the entrance to the Indianapolis turn! This overtake gives me goosebumps. It takes a lot of courage to make a pass like that in 340+kph on that part of the circuit where it's a lot narrower than on i.e. the Mulsanne straight. However, just a few moments later, Anthony makes a mistake in the PlayStation chicane and loses the lead again... This years Le Mans 24 Hours was amazing! The bluray review is a very recommended buy! :)

Le Mans 24 Hours 2011 - Allan McNish Crash Audi R18 #3 (English)
Audis R18 (Tom Kristensen, Allan Mcnish and Rinaldo "Dindo" Capello) Hits a ferrari and Crashes into the barrier wich almost seems to kill allan macnish, but luckely he survived. The first hour of today's Le Mans 24 Hour race was marred by a huge accident for Audi's Scottish driver Allan McNish. McNish had enjoyed a superb start from fifth on the grid to be running second shortly before the hour mark when he clipped the number 58 GTE Pro Ferrari of Anthony Beltoise while attempting to lap the back marker as the cars headed down towards the Esses, crashing violently into the barriers. The Audi R18 suffered a high impact and slewed over the Armco railing throwing debris over trackside marshals and photographers. McNish was extracted safely from his stricken car but there was no immediate word on whether any spectators had been hurt. The accident forced the safety car onto the track and left last year's winner Timo Bernhard up front in the lead Audi ahead of its remaining sister car and the three Peugeots. A horrible crash for Allan McNish in the opening hour of the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours, he tried to pass one of the slower cars, made contact and went hard into the barriers. Luckily he and everyone behind that barrier escaped unhurt. LE MANS, France (Reuters) - Former winner Allan McNish escaped serious injury after crashing his Audi shortly after the start of the Le Mans 24 Hours sportscar race on Saturday. The official race website (http://www.lemans.org) said the Scot, who stepped out of the wreckage unaided, was unhurt but taken to the circuit medical centre for precautionary checks. The safety car was deployed after the accident involving the number three Audi R18 and the Ferrari 458 driven by Anthony Beltoise, with German Timo Bernhard leading the race in the number one Audi. The number two Audi driven by Frenchman Benoit Treluyer was in second place. McNish had been challenging Bernhard, overtaking his team mate after the Dunlop Bridge but then clipping the slower Ferrari. The Audi, which McNish was sharing with Denmark's Tom Kristensen and Italian Rinaldo Capello, was launched sideways into the gravel trap and nearly cleared the barriers with bodywork flying. The Ferrari was largely undamaged and continued. "The Ferrari closed the door, Allan had no chance whatsoever. He went off very quickly, but luckily managed to get out of the car unharmed," said Audi motorsport head Wolfgang Ullrich. "To see that the cars are so strong is good, but that's not the way we like to demonstrate it." Audi, in a battle with French rivals Peugeot, have won six of the last seven editions of the race and swept the front row in qualifying with Treluyer on pole and the number one Audi alongside. Le Mans 2011 Audi Car 1 crash Mike Rockenfeller Video #2
Massive crash between Audi #1 and the Ferrari #71? Rockenfeller had got out of the car on his own, so is mostly OK. Heard that he is walking and talking, and has gone to the hospital for a precautionary full body scan. Appears from this angle that the two cars didn't make contact.
