These instructions can also guide you through the process for the Volvo 960's, they have very similar motors. Does NOT apply to the Volvo S/V70's made after the early 1998 year that do NOT have the hydraulic tensioner.

BMW E36 M3 Bumper Cam - Rally-style drive out to Caledonia, MS
1996 BMW M3. Nothing special -- just a point-and-shoot camera strapped to the front grill of my car while I'm driving out to a buddy's house. I just wanted to see how the video and audio would turn out (the mic has tape over it). I'm not even speeding most of the time because of the recent rain and all the gravel in the road; it just looks faster because the cam is mounted low to the ground. Btw, with so much gravel in the road I'm definitely not driving my M3 down that way anymore. I know I'm inviting all kinds of criticism here. Drifting my 87 Volvo 740TI (turbo Intercooler) w/ 280+k miles Bought the car for $350. Put about $1000 into it and learned to drift with it. This was the third event i attended and the last with the car. I still suck but im learning :P. 15 August 2010, 1216hrs. Our I-day railfanning trip came to a memorable end with the 25-coacher Karnataka Express flying at almost 100kph with twin ET WDM3As leading it! The lead loco was in the old ET livery while the trailing loco was in the new livery! It was awesome to see a 25-coacher train with twin diesels at such a high speed! Location: 5kms past YNK Outer, Bangalore, Camera: Canon PowerShot SX20 IS.
