Rainy night after taking some photos, on my way home snuck into an underground and filmed this. Only because before I had my Exhaust I had looked for some videos like the one im posting now. Full Stainless TT Cat back Exhaust with Borla muffler and 3" tip. I love this Exhaust and recommend this to anyone.

I bought this car in stock condition with 160k miles in April 2000, and this is the car in September 2014 with 243k. It was a daily driver until June 2005 when the current suspension/wheel/brake setup was fitted, at witch point it became a garaged summer car not driven in the rain or salt since. It's a 1992 Jetta GL, originally with a RV engine and AUG transmission. The original unibody rusted out and in 2002 I bought a rust-free 91 Jetta, cleaned it up, and swapped all the guts over during a long weekend in 2003, and junked the original bodyshell. It drives and handles great. It's loud inside and visceral, you can feel everything, has great engine response, and is utterly reliable. This car has had numerous stock parts replaced over the years, too much to mention. Always using quality fluids like Mobil1, Redline gear oil, Redline CV-2 Axle/Bearing grease, Lubro-Moly additives, and ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Always using paints like POR-15, Eastwood, Rust-o-leum, G2 caliper paint, SEM self etching primer. Griot's detailing products have also brought my chalkboard paint and trim back a lot. I keep it covered in the garage and I cover it at work so It doesn't bake out in the sun all day Drivetrain: -Original Digifant II engine management with BMW 535/735 Airflow Sensor and TT custom ECU chip -Original short block, Personally rebuilt P+P head with Techtonics 268 cam/adjustable sprocket, 3 angle valve job, Open breather with catch can, Low temp thermostat and fan switch, ABA oil pump, windage tray, Mobil1 oil -Dual outlet manifold/downpipe, Mk3 cat, Techtonics stainless cat-back with 2nd resonator and Borla straight thru muffler, Flat Ubolt clamps, Chain reinforced hangers. -DFQ Transmission from 97 Jetta, 16v clutch, 8lb Eurospec Sport flywheel, Peloquin 80% "poor man's posi" diff upgrade, TT short shifter, weighted shift rod, Redline MTL oil -VF Engineering poly/aluminum trans mount, Bahn Brenner solid aluminum front mount, Many broken front mount brackets over the years, OEM rubber rear mount with Prothane insert. -A/C and power steering removed, Custom alternator bracket, pulley, and belt Running Gear: -Manual steering rack swap, Federal Mogul rack, Prothane bushings -Front stabilizer bar removed to reduce understeer -H&R Coilovers for Corrado G60 -VR6 Strut bearings -Prothane bushings for control arms, rear strut mounts, and rear axle beam -Eurosport front and rear strut braces -Corrado G60 22mm Master Cylinder -Corrado G60 280mm front brakes -Rear 226mm disc brake conversion with Mk4 aluminum calipers -Centric Power Slot rotors and Posi-Quiet Metallic pads -Stainless braided hoses H&R Trak+ wheel spacers, 15mm front and 8mm rear to clear suspension -15x7 Rota Slipstream knockoffs called Flik Blasts, really light too and still not bent. -195/50/15 Toyo R1R tires Body/Electrical: -Smoked Aero E-Code Headlights, Aftermarket front bumper lights, Tint sprayed and clear coated tail lamps and front markers -G60 Front arches, liberal wheel clearancing front and back -Early style 7 bar grille, quick release front bumper cover -Battery replaced with Odyssey PC625 SLA dry cell and relocated behind parking brake lever with custom bracket -Audi TT Power distribution/fuse block with bosch headlight relays and custom radiator fan wiring for non A/C -Dashboard shell is wired with distribution blocks for constant, ignition switched, and blower knob switched power, as well as multible grounding terminals -Hardwired for Valentine One or some other modern radar detectors Interior: -HVAC system/box completely removed, bare firewall, heater hoses looped with custom stainless pipe -Helios GLI Recaro seats -Early 3 point seat belt conversion -Schroth 3 point driver's harness with fabricated brackets -Rallye-Wink 5 panel rear view mirror -Rabbit GTI shift knob -VDO Series 1 gauges for Oil pressure at the filter flange and the head, Voltage, Vacuum, and the water temp gauge used as oil temp -All sound deadening/insulation removed, trim/headliner removed, rear seat brace removed, random other dead weight reduction, is 2030lbs without driver and 1/4 tank

My Jetta on the rollers at work. Managed 172bhp, not been setup. 2.0 16v ABF bottom end and head running K-Jet management, 276/286 TSR cams, Kent vernier pulley, Rosten performance valve springs, pipercross foam induction kit, 4-1 Milltek manifold, full magnex stainless system and lightened and balanced flywheel. Other mods include 4 layer steel head gasket, full set of Vibratechnics H/D engine mounts, quickshift and weighted shift rod with uprated linkage bushes, fully polybushed, braided brake lines and lots of other bits I cant remember right now lol It definately needs a tuning on the rollers but it runs so it will do lol not bad to say I bought it as a 1.3 with 66k miles

Listen to this guy's front lip scrape... This is from the Great Canadian VW Weekend, which happens in Vancouver, BC every August. This guy drove this car to Vancouver all the way from Alberta - at that ride height. He told us that was a second lip, as the one he had on the car when he left Alberta had eventually scraped right off the car.
