This is my friend Roger's 1970 Maverick Grabber that his Grandmother origially bought new. She was the only owner of this car and it still has the original interior, paint and dealer installed a/c. Originally had the straight 6 but now has a Stroked 347.

FORD 428 Cobra Jet Maverick Recovery 10 Second Old School Ride
This picture compilation is the Big Block 428 FE Maverick over the last 28+ years from 1986 to now. Pics from when it was bought and built in 1986, then traded-off in 1992, then dismantled, lost in a barn, then back to us in 2008 for recovery. Project has slowed down quite a bit of late but will be getting back to "speed". A 434 and 454 cubic inch Ford FE Big Block are staged for power. 1973 Ford Maverick Grabber Grn OT032412
The Grabber was a special version of the Maverick that Ford offered from the 1970 through the 1975 model year. I'm guessing at the year of this Maverick. I haven't seen any illustrations with the exact hood configuration that this one has, nor the rear spoiler. It's very unique with those stutter stripes...and bold color.
