Dodge Challenger Slow motion Wheelie
1974 Dodge Challenger Slomo Wheelie vid. Santa Pod 2010 eurofinals. By
Blackett Photography. Here the car is powered by a 572ci Wedge motor. Runs
mid 9's @ full weight (3850lb +). To make the caltracks work you need
plenty of front end lift, bump stops were removed and frames notched to get
almost 6 1/2 inches of travel. Something Chrysler never designed that
suspension for I'd guess. We've since improved the bump steer by replacing
parts and resetting the camber / castor as the front has aftermarket parts
and plenty of adjustment.
In reality it's difficut to fully eliminate without going to a strut type
front end, though some people appear to have done it on stock stuff, it
seems to be a common chrysler trait. Check out the superstock video's from
the '70s and most Mopars do it also check out my other real time wheelie
vids you see that the wobble lasts only a fraction of a second.

Edited addition video from the '90s of my 1970 Hemi Challenger, Hooker
headers , 12.5 TRW pistons, Stock solid lifter cam, Mildon external line
oil system, and one bad tailpipe hole, almost 17,000 miles on the car. When
I bought this car it had not run in about 10 years. It was stored in a
garage and was covered with dust. The owner said the car was idling when it
made a funny noise and quit running. The owner had done some investigative
work pulling a valvecover but going no further. I bought the car. Later
when I was taking engine apart discovered that it had an Isky cam kit in
it, and those have aluminum valve retainers, and they crack. Apparently one
of the retainers broke and a valve dropped causing the mess.
Blown 71 Cuda
First time on a Dyno
for a baseline before i start making a few a minor changes. It made 500 hp
at 6000 rpm and 616 ftlbs at 3400 on 93 octane pump gas.
528 V8 Hemi on the dyno. Maximum horsepower!
Nick in Montreal has built another monster. This is the first Dyno test. When it's ready
they'll be dropping it into a '69 Charger 500. This motor will give it
