2014 Toyota Yaris SE Test Drive & Small Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/yaris/2014/?id=32972 The Yaris is the smallest and least expensive car that Toyota sells here in the U.S. Do you get good value for money if you buy a Toyota Yaris? Well when stacked up against the competition maybe. One thing you can be sure of is that the build quality and reliability is there since this is a Toyota Product. The Yaris has 12 different trim models with a base price as low as $14,430. The SE model with the manual transmission tested here costs $16,540. Under the hood is a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder that makes 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft. of torque. You get either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, both of which seem a decade behind the times. The fuel economy estimates are good at 30 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway. The Yaris only comes as a hatchback for the 2014 model year. This compact small car is lacking in rear cargo storage room. The backseat however is not too shabby when it comes to space. This being an entry level car, the interior materials are not going to be anything special. But surprisingly the Yaris is pretty nice. The Nissan Versa has more interior room, the Chevy Spark is more fun to drive, and the Mitsubishi Mirage gets better fuel economy. All these cars also cost less than the Yaris. But you can bank on Toyota reliability and build quality. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

2013 Toyota Yaris Test Drive & Subcompact Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/yaris/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Toyota Yaris is part of the increasingly popular subcompact car segment. These vehicles combine excellent fuel economy and the low base prices into one appealing package. The Yaris is now in its 3rd generation and is sold as both a 2 and 4-door hatchback. For 2013 the sedan configuration has been dropped from the Yaris line-up. This little subcompact car is safe, versatile, fuel efficient, and affordable with a base starting price of only $14,370. The Toyota Yaris has is origins way back in the year 1999 with the Echo. The Echo enjoyed a bit of success thanks to the lack of competition. Fast forward to 2013 and this subcompact car segment is packed full of great competitors. This 3rd generation car has gone through a couple of iterations but the practical hatchback design has stood the test. The engine that powers the 2013 Toyota Yaris is nothing revolutionary. The 1.5 liter 4-cylinder makes 106 horsepower and 105 lb-ft. of torque with fuel economy figures of 30 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway. Transmission choices are between a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual. Some other competitors in this segment are the: Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Sonic, Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio, and the Mazda2. A couple of those cars feature a direction injection engine while others feature a 6-speed transmission. The Yaris may be a bit behind the times but what separates the little Toyota from the competition is the great resale value and reliability. If you are looking for a functional and reliable car that is going to serve a purpose, the 2013 Toyota Yaris does it as well as anyone. http://www.autobytel.com/volvo/xc70/2012/?id=32972 Volvo has been making station wagons for decades. The 2012 Volvo XC70 is the latest in a great line-up of safe vehicles. The XC stands for cross-country meaning this station wagon has all-wheel drive and can go practically anywhere and do anything. The great thing about the 2012 Volvo XC70 is that from the rear seats forward it is essentially a sedan offering you tons of comfort and luxury. But the wagon style rear gives you tons of cargo room. In fact the XC70 offers 72 cubic feet of cargo room. The base price for the 2012 Volvo XC70 is $32,950 with the T6 Platinum AWD model going for $43,650. Fuel economy for this engine is 19 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. The other engine choice is a more powerful turbocharged 3.0 liter 6-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is a bit lower at 17 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. But the increase in horsepower is well worth it. When it comes to safety the XC70 is packed with the latest and greatest technology from Volvo. There are a myriad of airbags on the XC70 including side impact airbags for the driver and front passenger as well as inflatable curtain airbags for the rear occupants. A Whiplash Protection System is built into the seats as are seatbelt pre-tensioners. The 2012 Volvo XC70 comes equipped with ABS and an Emergency Brake Assist System. The Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control Systems work to keep the XC70 safely planted. When off-roading the Hill Descent Control system helps to keep the vehicle under control. 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Test Drive & Sub-Compact Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/fiat/500/2012/abarth/?id=32972 The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth comes packing a turbocharged motor that delivers a heaping amount of torque at low RPM's which allows the driver to get off the line quick. The suspension is stiffer and the exterior is more aggressive. The Fiat 500 Abarth is a sub-compact car that is a total blast to drive. The MSRP on a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is $22,000. Back in the 1950's Carlo Abarth used Fiat vehicles as race cars. These little automobiles were very successful racers and Carlo Abarth ventured out making high performance parts for Fiat vehicles. Fiat then bought out Abarth in 1971 and designated that name for their racing department. Fast forward to 2012 and we have a potent little rocket in the Fiat 500 Abarth. Differentiating the Abarth from a more mundane Fiat 500 is easy. The Abarth model will carry with it the signature scorpion badges that Abarth is known for. Other styling ques include an Abarth sport stripe, performance front bumper, twin Exhaust, 2-piece rear fascia, rear spoiler, and 17-inch rims. On the inside the 2012 Fiat Abarth treats the driver to high performance sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum pedals, Boost gauge, Bose sound system, and more. It's the performance aspect that sets the 2012 Fiat Abarth apart from the rest of the pack. Then engine is a turbocharged 16-valve 1.4 liter 4-cylinder that makes 160 horsepower and 170 lb-ft. of torque. The power control module makes sure the Abarth is operating at peak performance while in Sport mode. The car still manages to get 28 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway too! The wheels are wrapped in sticky Pirelli P Zero tires for additional stick. Suspension wise the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth features stiffer springs and KONI shocks for added handling performance. The steering is quicker and more responsive thanks to a tuned system calibrated around the electric power steering unit. The brakes are larger rotors to take care of any spirited driving needs. The 2012 Fiat Abarth is full of personality and it drives around like an angry little car looking for a fight. This is great for the driver that wants a fun and sporty sub-compact car. The turbocharged engine provides plenty of motivation while the suspension is capable of handling the twisties. As an added bonus all Fiat 500 Abarth buyers will get to experience a personalized Abarth Track Experience which include track instruction with a professional driver.
