Jamboolio records a fully restored 1972 Pontiac Firebird with an 350 cid
5.7L V8 engine and a stunning new paint job.
The monstrous hood scoops and huge air vents added to the all black
exterior makes it a very bad-ass looking muscle car beast! The Exhaust sound is pretty awesome too! Enjoy.

1969 Pontiac Firebird "Routy" Engine Install and First Start Video V8TV

400 into our '69 Firebird. It's running a rebuilt bottom end, roller
rockers, #16 Pontiac iron heads, a Professional Products intake manifold,
MSD ignition, h Holley carb, Royal Purple break-in oil & filter, and
Eastwood coated long-branch Exhaust
manifolds leading to MagnaFlow Exhaust. Also shown is the Vintage Air

1978 Firebird with Comp Cams Mutha Thumpr
My 1978 firebird with a '68 Pontiac 400, 10.5:1 compression, should be
around 340hp, 400 tq. Has a comp cams Mutha Thumpr with new comp cams
lifters and rockers. The glasspacks are tempory, just needed something to
calm the noise down a little to lash the valves. I put in a th400, has
posi-locker, hedman headers and other things
Auger Style Muffler on V6 3.8L Firebird
I thought I'd share this with whoever cares. This is probably the worst
sounding V6 ever made, and this is my solution. I still have the dual Exhaust muffler in the rear, the auger
muffler is in place shortly after the Y pipe. The idle volume is better,
but not the biggest area of improvement. It was getting embarrassing to
accelerate in this car because 4-5k rpm sounded like you were strangling a
cat over a megaphone. Now it purrs; still louder than factory, but not
When Cars Had Fins
I wrote this poem a few years ago. I was thinking of putting a bunch of my
old photos from the scrapbook up with some Rock-n-Roll by Dagmar and the
Seductones, then Dagmar reminded me of the poem, and I decided that they
might just make a good background for it, so I put it together that way.
All the cars in the early part of the video were either mine, or relatives
of mine. Some near the end were from 1970's car shows in Georgia, Stone
Mountain and Andalusia Alabama rod run.
Also: I've had a few folks ask for the words, so I posted them here below.
When Cars Had Fins
So, I've got this old car,
a Hot Rod...
a serious piece of iron
a duel Exhaust Rumbler
a tire smoking
full bore screaming
hunk of Detroit
guzzling $3 a gallon gasoline
and polluting the environment and
speeding my heart
like a mainline shot
every time I step on the gas....
You can't get that
from no Japaneeze
hunk of tin...
No matter if it does have
more technology involved
than the Apollo Moon Lander...
There ain't no substitute for
vintage American iron
beat for beat
the rhythm of my
teen age heart....
I go out and I
get in her and I
thromp on the accelerator
a half dozen times
to get a
good shot of gas down the
carburetor and into the intake
and in range of the spark plug/pistons
so I can turn over the starter and
listen to her catch and lope and
stutter into life,
running on seven cylinders
till that broken ring
piston wakes up and even then
'cause she ain't smooth...
Ain't supposed to be smooth...
She is meant to run with that
wicked kabooka kabooka
just like Ed Iskenderian
intended her to do...
I ease her into gear and
slowly release the clutch and
she lurches and catches and
like a rocket
waiting on the lunching pad for the countdown
and when I do gas her
rhythm and harmony
out of twin pipes
barks rubber between the
gears and pins me back
in my seat..
As the speedometer climbs and
my awareness of the likelihood of
some rookie police officer
who never had a chance
to chase down a
vintage piece of Hot Rod
waiting, like a kid
anxious to loose his
causes me to
just shy of 100 miles
and let her drift down to a
'cause I don't want to
give him the
The old cops
who grew up
They look the other way
or wave and smile
willing to make a commitment
to keep a little bit
of the old life
a little longer
even if the odds
high cost of gasoline
stands against it.....
For there is something good
in the heart of an old man like me
who can remember
what it was like
to be a kid

**The thing is that Im not selling/ & its not mine, 'cause it belonges to a
place down in Houston, Tx that auctiones classic cars. They have all
sorts of cars muscle, exotics, nice classics, and so on. I saw on their
