Der sicherste Lkw der Welt wird nun noch sicherer: Mercedes-Benz führt im Schwer-Lkw Actros die zweite Generation des Active Brake Assist ein. Dieses vielfach preisgekrönte Sicherheitssystem kann jetzt noch mehr: Leitete es bisher vor langsamer vorausfahrenden Hindernissen bei Gefahr eines Auffahrunfalls automatisch eine Bremsung ein, so wird der neue Active Brake Assist 2 auch vor stehenden Hindernissen aktiv, etwa einem überraschenden Stau.
