While cutting together the main footage for the Donington Historic Festival we thought given all the Jaguar celebrations taking place this year to put together a bit of just E Type and D Type racing footage (with a few paddock shots as well) from the Donington Historic Festival as a bit of fun for all those Jaguar enthusiasts.
Its not too long and a bit rough and ready but we hope its enjoyable none the less !

Sir Stirling Moss and the Jaguar C-Type
The Donington Historic Festival saw a reunion of Sir Stirling Moss with the
very C-Type that he drove to victory 60 years earlier at the Reims Grand
Prix - securing the first ever race win for a disc brake equipped car. This
film includes a fascinating in-depth interview with Sir Stirling Moss
recalling his early years racing the Jagauar C-Type and helping to develop
the modern disc brake.

Gran Turismo Jaguar E-Type
1980 National SCCA Champion Jaguar. First production sports car to turn
over 100mph lap average at Road Atlanta. Yes, faster than big block Corvettes and Cobras.
The Jaguar, Datsuns & TR8s (C production) were running faster lap times than most B production
cars, at this time. Eventually they wound up in newly formed GT1 class.
