Fred Lorenzen's 1966 Ford Factory NASCAR Stock Car
This is the real deal. Owned by Jeff Ray. This car is very documented as the car that Fred Lorenzen drove at the 1966 Daytona 500. The engine is the real Holman and Moody Ford 427 NASCAR race engine of the same vintage.

Oct 30, 2011 HSCRS (Historic Stock Car Racing Series) Morning practice in my 1965 Impala SS NASCAR with my Mom in the right seat enjoying every minute of it (legs crossed just enjoying the ride!). Amazing what 40 years of stock car development will do including lots of point bys but hell of a lot of fun running with the newer cars!

1963 Chevrolet Biscayne 409 "Jungle Fever" idling
This beast belongs to a friend of mine and the mighty 409 just came back to life again (no mufflers yet)...way too loud for my camera! There's still some work to finish but everyone is looking forward to see this car on the street (and on the track?) again...
It's believed to be a former NHRA B/Stock drag car, writing on fenders says "Jungle Fever". It was always a race car since 60s and was featured in "Super Chevy" Magazine in the early 90s. It spend some time in the UK as well and finally came to Germany last year. We're still trying to find out more about its history...maybe YOU can help us?
