Just bought this air filter on ebay.
It was a clean straight fit. Without any changes. Just removed all the air box, tubes, and hot air admission valve and tube.
This engine is from a mk2 106, bosh injection system. Single point injection.
I don't notice any visible power improvments, but it makes lot of sporty intake noise! :D
I will upload another video showing the driving and sound from the interior.
Peugeot 106 Engine Service
Servicing a 2002 Peugeot 106 1.1 Independence with a TU1JP Injected engine.
The car is one i am repairing as it was bought damaged, it has 43,000 miles
and although there is an entry in the service history book at 15 and 30,000
miles the last service was in 2007 so the car has done very little since
then it needed a service.
The things done in this video are:
- Engine oil flushed, then then drained, with a new oil filter fitted
- Gearbox oil filled after the oil had drained out when the drivehshaft was
- Air filter replaced
- Spark plugs replaced with NGK spark plugs the same as the ones which were
- Fuel filter replaced
I also did the pollen filter, but thats a tricky job and not worth the
effort, i will make a video separately about the pollen filter.
Apart from the pollen filter the 106 is an easy car to service, parts are
cheap and it seems to be a bit livelier after getting the old oil flushed
The timing belt will also be changed soon, its getting close to the mileage
for a timing belt and the car is still on its original belt which is 10

Peugeot 106 - We test the elderly Peugeot 106. With its small 1.0l 50 hp
engine, we experience the cold start, acceleration of 0-100 and the top
speed in this mini car. The Peugeot 106 was produced in two series. During
the first (S1) from September 1991 to April 1996 and the second (S2) from
May 1996 to July 2003 Here, the 106 S1 based on the Citroën AX introduced
a few years earlier, during the 106 S2 is technically almost identical to
the Citroën Saxo. Specifically, the vehicles of the first series were
relatively easy, so that even comparatively good performance could be
achieved with the smaller engines. Especially the XSi model with the
1.4-liter engine (94 hp) was at a maximum speed of 200 km / h and
acceleration from 0-100 km / h in under ten seconds for a small car very
quickly. Especially the Peugeot 106 GTI S16 with the 1.6 liter engine was
very fast. Therefore, they were very popular in rally racing use.

Super car driver idiots [NO pics, only videos]
I got bored with all the "super car crashes"-videos here on YouTube that
only contained PICTURES, CRAPPY MUSIC or/and clips of pure racing cars on
official racing events.
This compilation DOES NOT include pure racing cars on official racing
events - only real life FAILures on the STREETS, made by people with more
money than driving skills...
(Though, even the best car drivers can crash too of course.)
