Ford Torino....A car for Clint Eastwood
The mighty Ford Torino, a car that caught Clint Eastwood's affection, and
inspired the movie "Gran Torino" . From Starsky and Hutch, to the big
screen many of us owned one of these, or remember riding around in one as a
kid of the 1970's. The Ford Torino was a hit from day one, and lives on as
a classic today. Restore, never recycle, screw the enviro-nazi agenda, and
screw the democrats for the sleeze they are.

1970 Torino Cobra 429CJ 4-Speed For Sale! (SOLD)
This car has been sold! Video will be left up for posterity, and because
eBay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181246173812
This listing is for my beloved 1970 429 CJ, Ford Torino Cobra with a
factory 4-speed transmission. This car is unusual in that it came with
manual drum brakes and manual steering. A friend of mine sold me this car
just before he passed away several years ago. Max bought the car in the
early 80's from the original owner (see documentation) so that makes me the
third registered owner. The 429 CJ motor and transmission were completely
rebuilt by Alderidge Motor Sports in Portland, OR. As the video attests to
and the documentation shows, a top notch job was ordered and it runs out
VERY strong. The drive-train has about 30,000 miles on it since the
extensive rebuild and would need very little to be rated a 10. It does not
have its numbers-matching block anymore, and the carburetor is an
aftermarket Holley, incorrect numbered distributor and other minor details
need attention or are not correct (see video). It has a VERY solid Western
body and some very nice interior parts. Please watch the video for
specifics as I go into much further detail there. Feel free to call me at
503-463-1130 if you need further information. I feel this car is worth
about $25,000.00, but my reserve is much less than that. We can help with
shipping worldwide as I have done it many times over the last 25 years. I
will consider trades for 67-73 parts or parts cars. Thank you! Don Rush

Mark Bowler - 1970 Torino - Show The Drive
This is one wild, and very green Ford (and we don't mean green like a
Prius). With big power from a Roush 427 8-Stack injected engine being put
to use through a Bowler Transmission and a full RideTech suspension, this
car eats hybrids for lunch.
Mark also give us an insight into his new line of Phantom Products - push
button starting system. This is sure to be a hit.
1970 Ford Torino GT 351 and Ford Cobra Jet 429 Ram Air
Here are my 1970 Ford Torino twins. One is a 351 4v GT, whilst the other is
the big brother, the legendary Cobra Jet 429 with the Ram Air. The Cobra
has a deep, lumpy, throaty idle, whilst the GT has an altogether different
sound, but one as equally as enjoyable to the ear.

In the collector world, super rare cars with gobs of factory-installed
power usually command attention and serious money. If you're in the market
for rare Ford Motor Company sheet metal that won't drain your kid's college
fund, look no further than this 1 of 1 1969 Ford Torino Cobra.
Fresh out of a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration, this true R-code
Cobra is about as close to sleeper as anything with a Cobra badge could
ever get. One of just 17 Cobras to leave the Los Angeles assembly plant
wearing Meadowlark Yellow, this Formal Roof Ford features immaculate
paintwork sprayed over a laser straight original body. Fit and finish is
exceptional with crisp lines and even gaps all around.
With its vinyl top and soft yellow paint, the only warning other motorists
received came in the form of a functional hood scoop and a few Cobra
badges. The rest of the car is pure Torino. The stainless is immaculate and
the glass looks great surrounded by the black vinyl top.
Under the hood, the original Super Cobra Jet 428 remains in place wearing a
correct casting number and 9K108609 partial VIN. Conservatively rated at
335hp, the engine utilized a strengthened medium block, heavy duty
connecting rods, a nodular iron crankshaft and larger valves and ports to
produce enough power to hold its own on the street. Restored to factory
specs, the bay looks showroom. The engine fires immediately and sounds
great thanks to a set of Magnaflow mufflers.
The potent 428 is backed by a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and
a 9-inch Traction-Lok differential that's been updated with 3.25 gears. The
drivetrain is supported by a stock suspension featuring double A-arms up
front and a leafs with staggered shocks out back. Turns are helped by a
freshly rebuilt power steering system that utilizes a GM style power
steering pump while braking is power assisted with disc brakes up front and
drums at the rear. The sleeper look is aided by Argent style steel wheels
wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval tires.
Documentation includes an Elite Marti Report which breaks down the car to a
1 of 1 based on selected options. Also included is an original owner's
manual that explains each of the car's functions as interpreted by Ford's
There simply aren't that many chances to own a true 1 of 1 car --
especially for this money. With the Super Cobra Jet and slick-shifting
Toploader, the car is guaranteed to be a blast to drive as well. If there's
