Jimmy Read piloting his mint condition 1991 Eagle Talon Tsi on some 11 second passes at Import Wars. Street car that he drove over an hour to the track in and aside from tire pressure gave it a nice detail before racing (see thumbnail pic).
First two rounds of eliminations.
Second pass on the brakes hard to prevent breakout.

Nick Stack in his 1990 Eclipse GSX making some passes at the Import vs
Nick won the Modified Import Class.
Trying out the new JMF Drag sheet metal intake manifold, tune needs some
tweaking for that larger plenum over the Magnus but it was still running in
the mid 9's.

Courage is strong in this beautiful GTR Pilot! She took the directions
given to her and just rolled with it!
I love the part where the fear takes over body control, which makes it hard
for her to think straight to let off the gas to make it stop. Hahahahaha

The story starts on 8/8/12 at New Engalnd Dragway in Epping, NH. Ryan
Pelletier's 4g63 awd Mirage breaks in the 150mph zone, then he breaks his
rear end cover. He scrambles to get it fixed with only a week to the
Shootout, then the following Wednesday 8/15/12 he makes some passes and
figures out the driveshaft is bent and severely vibrating. Only a day
before the Shootout begins and he needs a new evo 1-3 driveshaft, what will
he do? Find out....
