Saab History Documentary
In tribute to Saab, here is an old documentary about the history of the
company. It is from the mid 90's and the quality was from a VHS tape. I do
not own the rights to this video. This is for fair use and analysis.

Saab Gripen Flight Demonstration - Farnborough Airshow 2012 (Monday)
The Saab JAS 39 Gripen flight demonstration at the 2012 Farnborough
International Airshow (Monday)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gripen
The Saab JAS 39 Gripen (English: Griffin) is a lightweight single-engine
multirole fighter manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. It
was designed to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air
Force (Flygvapnet). The Gripen features delta wings and canards, as well as
relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology.
How to Add an AUX Input to a Saab 9-3
This video shows how to add an AUX input jack to a 2003 or newer Saab 9-3.
Before doing this you might want to look in your center armrest and see if
there's one there already. I had one, I just didn't know it. Oh well... I
like the location of this one better anyway. My car is a 2006. I don't know
what year Saab started adding the AUX input in the armrest, but some of the
earlier cars didn't have them.
Anyway, now I have TWO AUX inputs! :-)
If your car is a 2003 through 2005, go here to see how to connect the wires
directly to the pins on the back of the stereo:
Opel Kadett jumps over a Ford Mondeo
Sas style car roulette, what will be destroyed first? The Opel Kadett, the
Ford Mondeo, the refrigerator, the bike or the lawnmower?
Een potje auto roulette, wat gaat als eerste kapot? De Opel Kadett, de Ford
Mondeo, de koelkast, de driewieler of de grasmaaier?
Saab 93 EGR Valve cleaning 9-3 2.2 TiD 2003
5 minutes DIY to clean a stuck EGR valve on a Saab 9-3 diesel 2.2 2003,
without remove it. The car was almost dead and had shacky start. Diagnostic
came up with EGR CODES P0400, etc. Amazingly the car regained power and
normal idling back by cleaning and freeing the carbon chocked spring, hook
and the piston shaft with WD40 & Carb cleaner from outside of EGR. For long
lasting repair of course you would need to take the valve out and clean
properly from inside with some sort of cleaner, brush, etc.
Fixing Saab 9-5 Security System Problems -EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/
As I said in the video the owner brought me this car along with the
supposed fix. The symptoms were an intermittent no start and a message on
the dash indicating a security system problem. Apparently this is a common
problem with Saabs of this vintage and the problem is usually linked to
this siren/security module. Apparently the batteries go bad in the unit
causing it to act up intermittently. In this video I show the steps needed
to replace the module, it's actually a very easy job that does not require
a lot of tools. So if you have an issue with the security system on a Saab
of this vintage you might want to give this fix a try.
Here's the ebay store link to the company that rebuilds the modules.
