Classic Days 2011 auf Schloss Dyck. Eine Orgie in Sound und Benzingeruch, die den Vergleich mit Goodwood nicht zu scheuen braucht.
Hier wird zu Testzwecken die 3.4 Liter-Maschine des Capri RS gestartet, deren Abgase ihren Weg ins Freie ohne Schalldämpfung finden, sehr zum Leidwesen meiner Kamera... ;-)
Mad Max - Last V8 Interceptor Axle-hop Stop!
Met up with Justice, who runs Maxrockatansky.org and did a little bit of filming near Lake Lewisville. Thought I'd throw in the axle-hop stop that you see at the beginning of MM2: The Road Warrior. He doesn't throw it into reverse, as many erroneously believe. It's this type of stop I demonstrate here.
ford capri 3.9 rover v8 start up
First time start up in over 2 years. Last run was in 2002 at Avon park raceway with a 11.3 at 123mph. but in process of making it street legal again. Vehicle was Dyno at 320bhp without nos, but has had a extra 100bhp to run a 11.3. as got jets for 200bhp but never at the chance. Engine has run down into the low 10s in a another vehicle, but since then it's been upgraded and rebuilt.

Just some pics of my models, from Mad Max, the Road Warrior. I built two of this model, one with the front intact, as at the start of the movie, and one with the front end smashed off, after Max rams the Landau in the opening chase of the movie. Enjoy!
