97 Honda Civic Ram Air Intake Install
This video shows you how to install a ram air intake on a 1997 Honda Civic (D16Y8). The video also show several other mods to get cold air to the intake. The intake and all the accessories cost roughly $25. It makes a big impact on the engine even though there are no other mods except for a welded on glasspack. Since the install I have noticed the engine runs higher rpm's more easily. Although during the winter the gas mileage decreases and in the summer it increases. Most of my tutorials are just for ideas. Some are currently on my car others are not. To see the latest version of my car watch my video - 97 Civic Duraflex Bumper Cover - Review AND NO, I DO NOT STILL HAVE HUBCAPS ON MY CAR LIKE IN THE VIDEO - so stop hating! Thanks! Turbo GSR sleeper civic
This is a video I made a few years ago...it was my High School car. Good old sleeper days. This video doesn't show it, but I installed an electronic Exhaust cutout for the stock Exhaust to go open down pipe. The car went through another small transformation before I sold her... upgraded the Exhaust manifold/down pipe and also some suspension work. Here's a couple of pictures of what she looked like before I sold her: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/206/480814811_2046d1b5f8_o.jpg http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1423/1045530588_a26583e616_o.jpg
