Corvette ZR1 vs 2012 Nissan GTR - 1 Mile Drag Race - Race The Base 2012

Here's my 2012 Nissan GTR Black Edition drag racing a Corvette ZR1 for one mile at Race The Base. The cones you see at 0:33 is the finish line/one mile mark. He ended up just nipping me but he also had a little bit of a jump start. The passenger was a professional driver that was mandatory for every car throughout the event (so the ZR1 had one as well). Damaged Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 After Crash Race The Base 2012 Damage
Here is the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 after it had it's high speed off/crash at the end of the runway. He was doing his top speed 2 mile run on the runway and apparently misjudged his braking point and went off into the fields and bounced quite a bit causing quite a bit of damage to underneath the car. We were watching at the one mile point and could not see past the two ile point where he went off, although on the monitor you could tell he missed his braking point. Please note that the above video was taken on a closed course with a professional driver assisting on a 2.5 mile runway specifically set up for high speed runs. Every possible safety measure was taken including detailed vehicle inspection, tire inspection, highly visible lift and brake markers, race helmet requirements, zero tolerance alcohol testing, many safety marshals and a lot of other safety features (too many to list). Obviously, a run at this speed should only happen with conditions such as described above; attempting these speeds on the street is irresponsible and criminal and should face the full extent of the law. I got bored with all the "super car crashes"-videos here on YouTube that only contained PICTURES, CRAPPY MUSIC or/and clips of pure racing cars on official racing events. This compilation DOES NOT include pure racing cars on official racing events - only real life FAILures on the STREETS, made by people with more money than driving skills... (Though, even the best car drivers can crash too of course.)

Saleen S7 Ride and Accelerations
