Welcome to the 56th edition of the Grand Prix of Monaco. The slowest race of the year is unique due to the special atmosphere of downtown Monte Carlo. But it is also special for drivers and cars. Changing gears over 3,000 times means that the engineers must pay special attention to the gear box, in their preparation for this Grand Prix. Nowhere else is it that important as it is here. From the drivers perspective, using the gear paddles at the steering wheel every 2.1 seconds, handling so many buttons AND concentrating on 19 narrow turns per lap really demands perfect concentration for all 78 laps! Well, the few fast corners in Monaco like tabac and the swimming pool chicane, thats the really difficult ones in Monaco.
