Replacing valve stem seals in 305 H.O. small block chevy from 1986 Monte Carlo SS
I'm putting the original 305HO back in the Monte after taking the ZZ3 out for my Iroc project. This is mainly to make the car mobile but it may end up tagged with this engine for a while. Previous owner reported that this 305 has over 100k miles on it and has been out of the car since 1997. He said it smoked during startup and sure enough the valve stem seals were worn out. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

350 with Comp Cams Magnum 270H 112 LSA and 4/7 swap
This was my first time swaping a sbc cam. I left the 081 heads stock on my 350, but put new extreme push rods, 270h cam, and lifters. So, you can run a .470 lift cam on stock heads. I spent many weeks looking for that answer ans now I have the experience for my self. I also could not find a good sound clip of this special grind cam online- so now there is one....enjoy! Comp Cams Magnum hydraulic flat tappet grind #12-211-2, with two changes... it has the 4/7 swap and LSA is 112 (instead of 110). Built for 1.6 rockers, lift is .501"/.501 (If used with 1.5 rockers, lift would be .470)

Chevy 305 Acceleration
Chevy 305 in a 76 Camaro. Goes from 40 to 90 mph, starting at 4500 rpm in first gear. Has a 8.1 CR. I let off the gas going into second or else it will slide into the ditch at 70 mph. It's not the fastest, but I love it anyway. Edit: Dynoed at 237.5 rwhp.

Flowmaster Super 40 vs Super 44?
This is my Silverado. I am debating installing the Super 40's or the Super 44's. What do you think? The engine is a 86-95 350ci block, four bolt mains, roller cam. Cross Country in a Gasser 1955 Chevy with a Hemi! - Roadkill Ep. 30
On this episode of Roadkill, it's 2,600 miles, 530 cubic inches, 700 horsepower, six speeds, 17 mpg, and two fun visits with some friends from TV. Last time, on Roadkill Episode 29, we finished our Chrysler-Hemi-powered 1955 Chevrolet gasser in about two weeks of thrashing (it's the same car you saw us take, as a bare shell, to Jim Meyer Racing in Oregon in Episode 8). On this latest episode, we drive it around the block once, then hit the road on a 2,600-mile journey from Los Angeles to the kickoff party of the 2014 HOT ROD Power Tour in Concord, North Carolina. On the way, there's the breakdowns you expect from Roadkill, plus two surprises: a stop at Midwest Street Cars with Justin "Big Chief" Shearer and Shawn "Murder Nova" Ellington from Street Outlaws, and another with Rutledge Wood from Top Gear USA.   The '55 Chevy is based on an original body with new quarters and floors and a fiberglass decklid and tilt front end, and Lexan windows from ProGlass. It's not in primer: the car was wrapped in satin black by Moody from High-Tech Auto Wraps. The car sits on a complete gasser chassis from Jim Meyer Racing with a solid front axle on leaf springs and a ladder-bar setup with Vicking coilovers on the rear. The rear tires are reproduction Firestone piecrust slicks from Coker tire, and the fronts are just like stock VW Bug tires.  The engine is a 530ci Hemi based on a Mopar Performance crate engine. With a Comp solid roller cam, 10.5:1 compression, homemade 2-1/4-inch headers from a Hedman kit, and Hilborn stack injection powered by a FAST XFI controller and Aeromotive fuel system, it makes 700 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. We were stunned to see 17 mpg a few times on the cross-country trip, especially with absurd 5.43 gears in the Ford 9-inch rear axle. The key to it all is the Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual double-overdrive trans installed with a conversion kit from American Powertrain. The car uses a Speedwires harness, charging and starting by Powermaster, and a Braille lightweight battery in the trunk. '83 Chevy Caprice 305 w/ Flowmaster 50
Flowmaster 50. The old Exhaust is only a whisper compared to this thing! I think it sounds really good for a 305, but hey, a V8 is a V8. I took the cat off cause theres no emissions tests being 27 years old. By the way it was smoking because it wasn't fully warmed up yet. But it was warm enough to rev it.

glasspack vs flowmaster
this is a comparison of the two on an '87 firebird with a 305. the flowmaster has a harmonized sound because of the dual outlet so try to keep that in mind. unfortunately im stupid and dont know the brand of glasspack nor the series of muffler.
