Just some clips from the sights and sounds of Mosport International Raceway. The Patron Highcroft Racing Team placed 1st overall, Lowes Fernandez Racing finished 1st in class and the Corvette Racing Team placed 1st in class a couple car lengths ahead of the Risi-Compitizione Racing Team. Enjoy!

Corvette Racing Garage After Win at 2010 Petit Le Mans
The Corvette Racing garage at Petit Le Mans was a very happy place following the teams first win at the last race of the 2010 ALMS season. C6.R driver Oliver Gavin recounts the season and then describes the final moments of passing the #62 Risi Ferrari on the last lap to win the checkered flag.
A Hot Lap Around Road Atlanta in a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport
The Corvette Grand Sport Coupe served as a Vitesse track car at the 2009 Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. Here is a hot lap we took around the 2.5 mile/12 turn track with speeds exceeding 130 mph.
Sebring Corvette Practice Fly By
The C6R GT1 Corvettes roll out of the paddock for Sebring 12 Hour Race practice. At the end is a ground level view of them as the "fly by" the pits on the main straight. And consider that this is into Turn 1. Go Corvette.
DTM ITC 1996 - Norisring - Magnussen crash
Closely to the end of the ITC/DTM race 1 1996 Jan Magnussen suffered a total brake failure and went head on into emergency exit at the end of Norisring's start/finish straight.
According to the data recording he hit the first tire barrier with a speed of more than 160 kilometers an hour...and catapulted that one about 6 meters into the air.
Unfortunately for Magnussen after Rosbergs crash there two years earlier massive concrete blocks with tire barriers were installed at the of that exit.
Magnussen was basically unhurt but his Mercedes probably was a total write off.
That one was the second and final lesson using a tripod at Norisring is not helpful all the time.. :(
