Diese Viper ist das dritte Fahrzeug für die GT2 Homologation. In 1997
wurde sie bei den 24h Rennen von LeMans und Daytona eingesetzt.
Das Fahrzeug in 2012 auch beim LeMans Classic gezeigt.
In Aldenhoven bei Aachen wurde das Fahrzeug für den Test vorbereitet.

Viper GTS-R at 2012 Daytona HSR Onboard - Florent MOULIN
Here is Viper chassis C27 driven by Florent Moulin during the first laps on
the Sunday morning race starting from last. Being a historic car it was
driven very carefully in the traffic.
The car qualified in 1.48sec.
This was our first time in Daytona and we are looking forward racing there
again next year.
C27 was a factory ORECA car at 2000 Daytona 24h, it was leading the race by
11am on Sunday when the gearbox broke but it managed to finish 5th OA.
Frog's Viper GTS 11.5 sec 1/4 mile drag strip run at 105 degrees.
Best time with this exact same setup was 11.3 @ 125 (AT 70 DEGREES), but
didn't get it on film... As for this video, the temp conditions were NOT
ideal for the track at over 100 degrees. 105 on the highway so about 100 or
more at the track I can only assume. I was shooting for low 12's because of
the heat but the car REALLY impressed me! The second pass, I kinda slept at
the light and had to let out because of wheel spin. Hopefully go back when
it's about 60 degrees outside... Low 11's... 10's??? :)
